A Z Construction & Design Inc

We had an amazing experience with AZ Construction & Design during our kitchen renovation. I’ve worked with other contractors in the past and usually expect a certain level of stress, but this team made it surprisingly smooth. Our project manager, Michelle, was super hands-on—always checking in, sending us updates, and making sure we were happy with every decision. They helped us pick the perfect tile backsplash and recommended custom cabinets that are honestly the highlight of the whole remodel. The workmanship is top-tier—like, every corner is precise, drawers glide like butter, and the lighting is chef’s kiss. It’s clear they take pride in their work, and it shows.

Love our new kitchen 😁 A to Z Construction made everything easy. They explained everything, answered a ton of questions, and the work was really clean. The cabinets and counters look awesome. Couldn’t ask for a better experience!

This was my first major remodel, and A to Z Construction & Design made it surprisingly painless. From day one, they were honest about what to expect and gave realistic timelines. I especially appreciated how clear their communication was — I always knew who would be in my house and what work was planned each day. The crew was not only quick and efficient but also super friendly and professional. They handled permits, inspections, and even helped me pick the right tiles and fixtures. Now my tiny old bathroom feels modern and luxurious. It’s honestly the nicest room in my house now. Big thanks to everyone at A to Z!

We had an excellent experience working with A Z Construction on a recent project for our bathroom and kitchen at our home. From start to finish, their organization and attention to detail made the process smooth and stress-free. They expertly guided us through each milestone, and we especially appreciated how they handled the more challenging aspects like permitting, which took a huge weight off our shoulders. We would highly recommend them and look forward to collaborating on future projects!!

We had a very outdated kitchen, and thanks to A to Z Construction & Design, we now have a space that looks like it came straight out of a home design magazine! Their entire team was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. They helped us select high-quality materials that fit our budget, and the final result is nothing short of breathtaking. The communication was excellent—they kept us updated every step of the way and addressed any questions we had immediately. The entire process was smooth, and they completed the job on schedule without cutting any corners. It’s rare to find a company that combines efficiency, craftsmanship, and great customer service, but A to Z does just that. I highly recommend them to anyone considering a kitchen remodel!

I did a ton of research before deciding on A to Z Construction for our ADU project, and I’m so glad I trusted my gut. The project manager was incredibly organized, the team was friendly, and the attention to detail was impressive. They helped us make smart choices on materials without pushing us toward the most expensive options, which I appreciated. The work stayed on schedule despite some bad weather, and they even handled all the permit paperwork. The ADU turned out beautiful, bright, modern, and exactly what we envisioned. I’ve already recommended them to two friends!

I hired this design-and-build company to assist with a home renovation project, specifically to obtain a permit. From the start, I clearly communicated that I only wanted help with the permit and did not intend to move forward with construction at that stage, since I wanted to continue comparing contractors. During our initial discussions, I was verbally given a quote that included permit-related work along with a 3D design, which is why I decided to proceed. Only after the company completed its work did I learn that the written contract excluded permit submission from the scope. This exclusion was never clearly explained during the project, even though obtaining the permit was the primary reason I engaged them. The overall pace of the project was also slower than expected. Near the end of the engagement, I was informed that they would only proceed with obtaining the permit if I signed with them as my contractor. This requirement had not been disclosed earlier and differed from what I had communicated from the outset. Had this been clarified upfront, I would have made a different decision. Throughout our text message conversations, I repeatedly asked them to move forward with submitting the permit, including requesting that it be done as soon as possible before the 3D rendering was completed. At no point was it communicated that permit submission was not included or that additional conditions applied. The engineering report also took a long time to receive and ultimately was not usable for the permit process. I had to hire a separate designer and structural engineer to redo the work in order to move forward. After receiving the final invoice, I asked for clarification about what I felt were discrepancies between the quoted services and the actual process, but I did not receive a response. Overall, I found the communication unclear and the process lacking transparency. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company.

A Z Construction & Design has exceeded all our expectations with our recent kitchen remodel. From start to finish, they demonstrated a level of professionalism that is truly second to none. The entire process was executed in a timely manner, making what is usually a disruptive experience feel smooth and efficient. The team’s knowledge and skill were evident in every aspect of the project, and they offered brilliant suggestions that enhanced both the functionality and design of our kitchen. The craftsmanship they delivered is nothing short of exceptional, with attention to detail that is rare to find. We were particularly impressed by how clean they kept the workspace; every day, the team made sure everything was spotless before leaving. Additionally, every member of the crew was polite, respectful, and considerate, always willing to answer our questions and address any concerns. The result is a beautiful, functional kitchen that meets our every need, and it’s clear that A Z Construction takes immense pride in their work. If you're looking for a remodeling company that combines efficiency with quality, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. Their work is truly brilliant!
