I first went to Acustom about 2 years ago after struggling to find a suit that fit me properly (I have a slim frame with mild scoliosis making it more challenging). Since first going to Alex and the Acustom team about 4 years ago, my experience of buying suits/formalwear has been nothing but first class. What sets Alex apart is that he serves his clients as a fashion consultant, and works with you over time to 'build a wardrobe'. He knows exactly what you have, what you like to wear, and what you should be adding to the repertoire. From the quality of the product, the overall in-store fitting experience, and the promptness of delivery - I cannot recommend this business enough.

I went to Acustom for my wedding tuxedo - 10/10 would do it again. Alex + team were phenomenal throughout the whole process, offering valuable guidance and feedback without any of the pressure of "upselling" that sometimes comes with similar establishments. I’ve been going to Alex for about 1 year, and I won’t buy formalwear anywhere else now. I went in for my wedding to get a tuxedo, some tuxedo shirts, a suit for the rehearsal dinner and some dress shirts. The experience was fantastic and the end product was even better - I was markedly more confident and happy wearing both the tuxedo and the suit. I seriously never felt better wearing those shirts and the change was so noticeable that I decided to go back for another suit and a full new wardrobe of dress shirts. Once again, I was so impressed by the care, quality and end result that I started getting to work on a complete overhaul of all my formalwear (additional suits, overcoats, sweaters etc.). For me, what sets the experience apart is Alex being a consultant/advisor rather than a yes man. We work together on what’s next, what looks good (and, more importantly, what doesn’t) and how to maximize my style. He’s encouraged me to take some risks beyond the basics / classics, but will also tell me when he thinks something looks off. Acustom Apparel has been nothing but reliable, and it’s as much a partnership as it is a purchase when working with Alex. I look forward to every visit and highly recommend it for anyone who is looking to upgrade both their formalwear and fashion sense.

I had a suit and tux made by Acustom for my rehearsal dinner and wedding, and my groomsmen also had matching tuxes made. We all looked great in wedding photos and got tons of compliments on our look. They're also the best-fitting suits I've ever owned, and I felt super comfortable and stylish in them. I was fortunate to have discovered Acustom in its early days, when they were operating out of a private space in the neighborhood. The first suit I bought fit better than any I'd ever worn before, and they have only gotten better with time. Their fabrics are excellent and they offer a nice range of options to customize: you can choose your own lining, lapels, stitching, and more.
