Workmans Comp After suffering a catastrophic injury at work that left me paralyzed from the waist down, our families life was turned upside down. Did we know what direction to go? NO. Did we do any research? NO. Did we have time to do any proper research? NO. The only thing we knew at the time was that there were some very important decisions that needed to be made at an overwhelming rate. We were blessed to have received a referral to Howard Ankin at a time that we needed clarity in dealing with the realization of our new reality. Nobody can prepare you for such a tragic situation. He educated us along the way countless times no matter how redundant our questions probably seemed to him. Not only does he keep in constant contact with you, he also checks in to make sure there aren't any questions or concerns. He always returns phone calls, emails or texts. He and his partner Anita Decarlo are very humble, professional and know the law inside and out. I highly recommend Howard Ankin and his firm. A bit of advice for someone who has had a catastrophic injury at work, call Howard Ankin, understand things aren't going to be as they were, take advantage of your rehabilitation, learn patience and your new normal and finally let Howard do what he is good at.

I wish I could leave zero stars.DO NOT HIRE THEM. My mother brother my daughter who was 3months old at the time and I were in an accident JULY 21,2024 that was due to negligence of another driver. The attorney Jake came to each of our homes and would call weekly but as soon as we officially hired them on we have not heard anything and it’s been over a year. It’s always we are waiting on paperwork from the er or we are just waiting on the insurance company which is all lies I emailed all documentation because they claimed they were waiting on the paperwork and it was received then I called both insurance companies and was informed the lawyer had not reached out after an offer was presented that we knew nothing about. I’m not gone say don’t use the firm but DONT USE THE LAWYER JAKE.
