The wife and I were overjoyed to see a selection of non-alcholic bevs that matched the quality of the wines. ESPECIALLY recommend the Paloma. The somalier was INCREDIBLY nice, and the ambiance is next to none in the area. GREAT spot. The Pizza bar out front DEFINITELY didn't hurt, hot and made-to-order on a Thursday!!!
It's been such a pleasure to watch this place evolve and grow. Not only do they have so many offerings incl. natural wine, distilled spirits, tinned fish, etc. but they are also a gathering place. Thursdays are so fun with their food vendor collabs. I jokingly call it 'Millenialville', but it's a great spot for anyone - it's an inclusive space. Big ups to Richard and staff for what they do and the atmosphere they cultivate. Please go next time you're in the Xroads.
Highly recommend this spot for anyone who lives in KC or visits KC. Big Mood has a laid-back feel and an impressive selection of natural wines. I immediately felt like a local when the owners helped me select the perfect bottle. The orange wines were an absolute treat! They also have a wine club with great deals on bottles.
Everything about Big Mood makes me want to come back again and again. The decor, the atmosphere, the staff, the service, the selection, and much more. I have been fortunate to travel abroad and experience some of the world's greatest wine regions. While I learned about natural and biodynamic wines during these travels, my knowledge pales in comparison to the staff at Big Mood! If you're unsure of what to get, or looking to try something new, check out their two monthly wine club options. You can choose between the 2 bottle or 3 bottle club. They also sell spirits. I have yet to try any of those, but it looks like there is a very nice selection of mezcal! Overall, if you're looking for a new style of wine, or something unique to take to a party or someone's house for a conversation starter, swing by!
Great selection of wine you will not find on other shelves in town. Weekly stop for my wife and I. No fuss staff that has expert knowledge when you need it. I would love if they had a few More top shelf spirit selections and a cute shop dog named Fuisse.

Five stars isn’t enough. Richard is knowledgeable, kind, inclusive, and approachable. The wine club is an absolute steal. Thirst trap Thursdays are the move. Always local businesses doing pop ups. Vibes are amazing.
Curated selection of natural wines. These guys here will teach you everything you need to know about wine and will treat you respectfully even when you ask silly questions. You can leave with a bottle of wine to share with friends that makes you seem way cooler than you are. Not to mention that you can sip a glass of they impeccably chosen wines of the week.

Owner sites safety for something with no context. However this business was unable to make accommodations for my friend to patron the business when she cannot get a vaccine do to another illness. It was an uncomfortable experience. And will not return. We will patron other places where the owners care about their patrons.
