Nick is always fair. I brought my wife’s car in for an oil change and to have the brakes checked. He discovered a leak from an oil sensor and another lower control arms were failing. He was able to get the parts and fix her car in a quick and timely fashion. Nick always tells it like it is and doesn’t try to fix something that isn’t broken.
They took care of all of my vehicle issues. They also took the time to explain everything that had to be done on my Explorer before making the repairs and patiently answered all of my questions. I highly recommend this shop. Now I can navigate the crazy traffic in Boston with confidence. Had to see them again about other repairs. They had my vehicle up and running in no time. It rides so smoothly now, it’s like driving a new car. Their prices are reasonable and they do quality work EVERY TIME.
Nick is a phenomenal mechanic! Honest and fair priced. They go above and beyond with customer service which is hard to find with mechanics! Nick’s been my mechanic for 5 yrs now and I highly recommend him for high quality auto care!

Always been a fan of Nick and his team. Been coming here for over 10 years. I knew he was an honest guy the time he worked up an estimate and told me not to go through with it. I told him it was worth fixing up an old jalopy, as it had belonged to my grandfather. He smiled and told me that my grandfather did not want me to spend that kind of money on this car. He was right. Good folks here.
Great service and excellent response. I had a problem prior to the weekend with my brakes and Nick resolved it for me efficiently. I had an exhaust problem and Diane scheduled me right away. Nick is always direct and professional. Central has serviced my vehicle before and have always been satisfactory. I have been going to Nick at Central automotive for about 20 years. Nick always has great service. He is fun to speak with. He always solves my problem any time. I have an issue that I think is difficult. Or anything like that. Nick always reassures me. Everything's okay and he fixes the problem the first time.
**5/5 Stars – Outstanding Service!** I had a fantastic experience getting my car’s air conditioning serviced here recently. Nick was absolutely wonderful to work with. They originally gave me a firm appointment date, but when an earlier slot opened up, they proactively called to get me in even quicker—which I incredibly appreciated. Nick took the time to clearly explain exactly what the AC issue was, gave me a precise timeline for when the car would be ready, and then delivered right on time. The level of communication, honesty, and knowledge here is top-notch. On top of the stellar service in the garage, Diane in the front office is an absolute gem! She is welcoming, kind, and makes the whole administrative process a breeze. This is just a genuinely kind, highly professional group of people. I can’t recommend them enough!
They were such a pleasure to work with. My father and brother in laws are both mechanics and although they preformed 1000's of dollars worth of replacements there was still so many issues with my car. I haven't lived back in the city for long and never needed to have repairs done here so I was really hesitant, especially knowing that the repairs I would likely need were going to be costly. Nick and his team team took great care in explaining the damage and truly did a remarkable job at resolving all the issues I had! my car no longer has the shaking or knocking in the front passenger side tires, nor do I have to stomp on my gas to properly accelerate. My breaks also work so smoothly that sometimes I forget my car isn't brand new! Never once did i feel ripped off or like they were doing extra work, especially knowing how much work already had been done. The whole experience was such a pleasure and the best part, it was the day before Thanksgiving and he had it back to me that same day!!!! I could believe it, I thought it would take weeks! Now my daughter and family can be safe in my car for the holidays! I can't thank him and his team enough 🩷 you won't ever regret bringing your car to Nick's.
