Their selection is not great bit ok. The caveat is that they have no price tags on their merchandise. Then you get a big surprise at the register. Prices are easily double of prices at Safeway. On top of that, they suggest a 20% tip. At a convenience store! Pay attention to decline that. If you're visiting (like I am ), you may bite the bullet and pay that price because you don't know what else is in walking distance. But I would never come back to this place again. And locals for sure will not.
I'm glad something is using this space, but I miss Bartells. There were no prices posted when I went the day after opening (is that legal?), and the sandwiches were pretty mediocre. But if you need to pick up some snacks or drinks or whatever then this place is adequate!
Quite expensive for what they offer. The empanadas look great, but once you bite into it, you realize it's mostly filled with air.
