Nancy and Amanda were great to work with and the store has a huge selection of fabric books in the back room for browsing. After we decided on a few options Nancy came out to our Castle Rock home to make sure that our selections worked within our rooms. The window treatments (draperies and cornices) were completed in a timely fashion and the in-house workmanship was terrific. Amanda is wonderfully creative, flexible and personable. She was able to help get our furniture re-upholstered in less time than other places. Had such fun looking at all the fabulous fabrics in the store. Would highly recommend.
Amanda helped me pick a fabric .... was very pleasant! She thought it might take 4+ weeks.. I was just called to pick it up - only took 2 weeks and is well done! I will be taking another chair there soon!

Couldn't be more pleased with my beautiful new swags. I found several remnants of material that was perfect for my newly remodled máster bath. I was going to make swags myself but a bit worried that there was not enough material and it was a discontinued fabric. Talked to Nancy and Amanda, Nancy had me measure and told me she could make it work. She did just that and the swags are outstanding. She has done other drapes for me and I've always been pleased. As a designer, you are only as good as the team around you and I can't think of two better ladies than Nancy and Amanda to have on my team. They have an incredible selection of fabrics and trims and their knowledge and expertise is exceptional. My first project with them involved reupholstering an antique caned couch and two matching chairs. Due to a photoshoot reschedule, the project was pushed weeks ahead. Amanda and Nancy were amazing, working overtime to help me reach my deadline. With their help, we transformed an entire room that included custom curtains, a custom table cloth and the antique couch and chairs. Nancy and company helped us select and install our custom, designer fabrics for many of the doors and windows in our new home. I want to thank Nancy personally for all of her time and attention to detail. She truly loves what she does, and she is great at it! It takes a time to pick out fabrics that you are going to live with for a long time. Nancy has a awesome showroom with 1,000's of fabrics and blinds to choose from. She made multiple visits to our home and also helped us coordinate several other home improvement projects including wallpaper, custom made bookshelves, interior house painting, new ceiling fans, new light fixtures, etc. If you are in the market for custom window and door coverings, I highly recommend a visit to Designer Fabrics.
We have been looking for an upholstery fabrics place since we moved south. We received a mailer that brought me to this gem of a store. Not only do they have lots of fabrics and trims to pick from and on hand, Nancy does beautiful work. She and her daughter, Amanda, are extremely helpful when doing your ground work on your project! Nick, whose family owns the business, was on time, pleasant, fixed the one problem and then fixed another problem that he saw. When there was a barrier to fixing the original problem, he checked a YouTube and fixed it in no time. My plantation shutters work beautifully now. I recommended him to another friend, as soon as Nick walked out the door. I highly recommend this company.
They did an amazing job upholstering my vintage chairs. Look brand new. Exceeded my expectations and couldn’t be happier with final result. Support this local business and you won’t be disappointed!
