I have truly loved working with Fred and everyone else who has helped with finding me fabric and appliques and other items. When Fred said he is available 24/7 he was telling the complete truth. So nice and helpful, sending pictures of fabric and even FaceTime to show me fabric. Thank you so much.
Upon going to 6 other fabrics, I then went to DMC fashion and fabrics and was amazed The customer service was GREAT and the pricing was AMAZING !!!! This is a one stop shop for fabric!!! The selection was great!!! Looking to take another trip. Go to DMC fabric for all your fabric needs !!!! They will also ship if you need it I got fabric delivered and I received it very fast THANKS FRED FOR ALL YOUR HELP!!!

I recently moved out of state, and the level of service I receive—whether I’m placing an order over WhatsApp or shopping in person—is truly unmatched. They are incredibly kind, patient, and never rush the process. They send detailed photos, take their time, and genuinely care about making sure you’re happy with your selections. When you visit in person, they go above and beyond—offering water, soda, fruit, and sometimes even gifts lol. It’s genuine hospitality that makes you feel so welcomed and appreciated. Every trip back to NYC isn’t complete without stopping by. And let’s talk about the prices—absolutely unmatched. DMC Fabrics is truly a must-go. I genuinely love them all. 🤍
It's a nice and big store. I was happy with the selection and I found what I wanted. The prices weren't posted and I had to negotiate. I don't mind negotiating, but it makes me feel taken advantage of sometimes since I don't know that much about fabric. I walked out with enough fabric for a giant tablecloth and the price seemed ok. The staff was helpful, but don't forget to negotiate because they took 25% off their original verbal price when I asked although some other fabrics might be more or less flexible on the price.
They had exactly what I needed at a reasonable price! Even went to the basement to retrieve more fabric. Good recommendation for lining material as well. I will definitely be returning for future projects.

I love their fabric selection, however it was the shopping experience that left me unhappy Whilst we have the freedom to walk around, it felt as if the staff were glaring at us (not just keeping an eye out). During the cutting fabric and check out process, both the man and woman staff seemed annoyed.
While in the store, I ordered 100 yards of a particular fabric for my business. They were to ship it to me. Weeks went by. When I called to see where it was they said it could not be delivered and was on the truck back to them. ?!? I receive shipments all the time. Then they shipped me the wrong fabric (a lesser quality fabric). I then had to spend a month working with their sister store, Diana Fabrics, to try to get it replaced, because the staff at Exclusive Fabrics would not answer their phone. After several attempts getting them to send me the return postage and shipping label, I finally sent it back. They said they didn't have the fabric I wanted, there are no refunds, so I could just select something else. Diana told me that her secretary would send me a catalog. That took two weeks, because when I called and spoke with the secretary, she didn't know anything about it. This is now about half a year later. I didn't want anything else. I specifically ordered that fabric. Two months later, when someone actually answered the phone at Exclusive Fabrics, I was able to get an employee to send me twenty yards of what I ordered and another 27 of the same fabric (only different color). He even apologized to me saying, "I'm just trying to make a penny for the boss" . What does that mean?! Yay! A year and a half later, I finally have half of what I paid for. It's been three months since then. I've called, left messages and no one returns my calls. Don't walk out of the store without your merchandise! You won't get it!
The other day I visited this store in hopes of locating a particular fabric. I looked at fabric for a while with no assistance when the Indian looking lady approached me with an attitude and shouted that she was going to help me. She was clearly being obnoxious because I was unraveling fabric. I told her to watch her tone. Needless to say, I never got any help. 🤣 The store always has a weird smell and the fabric is exceptionally over priced. There are several Others on the same block. Skip this one if possible
