Dress for Success Denver Ladies are Fantabulous! Not only did they pick out my entire (7 outfits) of clothing entirely perfectly, they also took the time to listen and show so much compassion for a difficult situation that I had been going through They all including volunteers are truly "Unstoppable" Ladies.
Awesome selection of professional clothing, jewelry and accessories. Also, the people who work there are incredibly helpful and caring. They don't rush you at all , and when you leave you feel confident that you will nail that interview and succeed in the workplace. 100 stars!
I cannot express enough how much this program has helped me!! I am interviewing for jobs in a professional setting. I had no clothes to interview with (had been wearing leggings and a sweater) Left with 2 interview outfit options and much more. Was dropping off my wifes, God Rest Her, nice dress clothing. The volunteers and staff were very professional, efficient and quick.
Had a wonderful coach session with Kristen from Nexus. But there were other ladies making comments about my pant size and rushing me. I felt they were looking down on me. Not sure what the actual deal was. But it was unfortunate because I love shopping and I was really excited for this day. Left with nothing, decided to just remove myself from the negative atmosphere. I would suggest get volunteers who actually care and really want to help. And not just people who can write on paper, to say “I volunteered”
I am so grateful for this organization. I felt so accepted and encouraged when I arrived. So happy to be able to go to an interview and feel confident in my new clothes from Dress For Success The facility is organized and the office is immaculate.. Do not hesitate to get some beautiful clothes from this organization. You will be so glad you did.! Thank you Dress For Success for empowering women to become the best they can be.

Although this program is much needed by those in need, the staff could use some work. Not all clients are created equal and listening to understand rather than to reply is not something that is practiced here. Because I am in between careers, they really couldn't be supportive of me and I guess they felt some kind of way. The intake volunteer told me I was over qualified...how is saying that helpful? It's snarky at best. I didn't appreciate it, that's for sure. The "stylist" was the worst. She was rushing me and this happened when I kept pushing back on style and comfort of clothing choices. I don't know how many times I explained that I'm not a prints person only for her to keep bringing me prints! Then as she was helping the client in the next fitting room over, said something off color and snarky as well! The client stated she wouldn't have chosen a certain choice in dress and the stylist said "yea, it's really nice when clients don't fight me and trust that I'll know what looks good on them". She was clearly referring to me. I have autism and have sensory sensitivity issues so to take my preferences personally is not only dismissive but also out of line! I know my body, how it feels/looks in certain garments and the client should ALWAYS trump the stylist at the end since they're the ones who will be wearing those clothes. People have hidden disabilities and the staff here could use training in how to treat people! With or without disabilities. My experience was horrible and I'll never return again. I won't even suggest them to someone for fear of how they'll be treated. This experience isn't a one off either. Apparently after talking with the referring agency, the stylist has been a similar way to other people as well! Also reading other reviews on Google after my experience- from 3-4 years ago, nothing has changed or will change! It screams lack of caring for the very people it claims to serve! Do better! I gave 2 stars because there's a vast selection of beautiful garments that will help those in need to dress to impress. The lack of stars is for how I was treated.
I have not come across women who, remind me of middle school. Talking about my body shape, while whispering, and just trying to rush me out the door. My experience was the opposite of what others have commented on here, and it’s a shame. I probably would not recommend someone, who has curves, to come here, unless you want them to make you feel, like your curves are not work appropriate
They were absolutely wonderful. Fantastic interview tips, made me feel so confident with the clothes they picked out for me. And I got the job they helped me prepare for!
