Can’t speak with a person to find out when power will be restored
Our power has been out 4 times in three weeks
A 5hr Outage From 3am-9am Still yet to be restored, THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE,

Refused to fix the wire that leads to my house. Told me it wasn't their problem. Absolute garbage people and a garbage company.
They turned off our power so I called to see why, bill was late and was told if paid that day the guy who turned it off would get a notification to come restore power that day. It got paid and no one ever came. We called and called no one answered. Mind you I have two children and now two entire fridges full that are now bad. Absolutely terrible to their customers.
I have an extremely high bill for a 2 bd apartment. I’ve adjusted almost all of my habits to save money and my bills are still high. Called and the service representative was absolutely worthless. Wouldn’t listen when I explained that I’m hardly even home and avoid everything during peak hours, not even running AC or Heat for several months and no change in my bill. They continued to write me off and accuse me of using energy when I’m not even home and said that they don’t see much usage when I am actually using it. This business is crooked and if I had an option to get energy with anyone else I would.
Had a low powerline connecting to our house, was brought up during a home inspection. Called Evergy and they sent someone out the same day & raised it back up to standard elevation. Thank you!!!
Our power goes out multiple times a year because the grid is so overloaded it can't handle the usage and Evergy refuses to do anything about it. The houses on the other side of our street almost never lose power, so I know a solution exists. Infrastructure updates to the electricity are needed, and yet in the almost 20 years living in our house, we have seen nothing improved. They haven't even taken down the old power line pole after replacing it five years ago, so it sits, rotting in our backyard. It is ridiculous that a company is so negligent and uncommitted to the people it serves. What a shame. Zero stars.
One of the most unsympathetic/least compassionate companies as far as customer service and the way they do business. It would be nice if they didn’t have a monopoly over the Kansas City area so that I could switch services. I’m going to write my elected officials to complain about this specifically. Nobody should have a monopoly over all the energy in the city.
