Great old historic building with nicely redone interior office spaces
The details are absolutely stunning
Went to a successful SSI meeting fire alarm went off and the terrific security guard got EVERYONE out in 2 minutes .EXCELLENT JOB
Beautiful architecture! Just stunning. It is open to the public. For disabled folks like myself you can use the elevators here to help with making it up to 2nd St from the ferry.
Access through Cafe Hitchcock on 1st. You can't go in from 2nd but you can use the elevator and exit on 2nd. Crying shame because the art deco inspired lobby is one of the most beautiful in Seattle. Someday.
It's the headquarters of Slalom Consulting! Need I say more? Seriously, though, even if you don't work in the building, check out the two eateries on the first floor. Bar Taglio and Cafe Hitchcock are good.
I was here for work, but in the short time I was there, I was very impressed with the artistry in the interior. Well preserved and maintained, I felt like I stepped back in time about 80 years just walking through the lobby!
It's a beautiful historic building in Seattle, that thankfully has not been modernized! It is elegant and graceful like the crass new buildings they'll are putting up never can be.
Clean building and friendly staff. The coffee shops are both wonderful. The building was built in 1930. The building has been updated in a lot of ways, but the original details still shine through.
This building is like an old car that you keep driving; there's always something wrong with it but it gets the job done. The owners have been improving it and sound like they will continue to do so throughout 2016; it's obnoxious but I get that they are grooming it to sell so whatever. The gym is surprisingly nice.
