Fathom Corporate Training

So grateful for the training John provided my team last week. I found the topic to be fascinating, and appreciated the practical nature of it in how we can work together as professionals - but also how it extends into our personal lives as well. He's an excellent presenter! I've already seen the ways this knowledge has impacted the way we work together for the better, so I'm especially grateful! Highly recommend.

Fathom does a great job of restructuring your mindset when it comes to understanding why people think and act the way they do. We all see the world through our unique cultural lens. We also have a generational group which determines our point of view. When you start by taking the actions and words of an individual, then factor in their age and culture, it causes you to stop and think rather than judge. The way someone is raised in a specific cultures will explain why they think, speak and act in certain ways. Knowing your own cultural values may also be eye-opening. If you are not aware of why you act in a certain way, John will give you a clear picture. When conflict arises, having this understanding will put you in a perfect position to bridge the gap toward a resolution. I highly recommend Fathom to all those organizations/businesses who need conflict resolution solutions or mandatory diversity training. John makes it interactive and interesting. There's no doubt you will learn a thing or two!

Excellent training! As a facilitator, John was extremely knowledgeable, challenging and engaging. The materials were very timely and appropriate. I especially appreciated the case studies. Attended Outstanding Management Skills Workshop, with John Males. Excellent highly recommend!!! The course content was great and covered many areas as a new manager I felt were very good. John Males engaged us in what he was teaching, and had many activities and role play models, in where he could see our strengths and weakness. He also had us share our own experiences with employees and gave us great feedback. When I returned to work this morning, I started evaluating how my leadership style was in regards to my direct employees, and thinking on how to use the new skills learned at the workshop. The class was wonderful. Stopping to consider the personality type of the person you're working with, and tips on how to estimate the type of person you're working with was immensely valuable. What I really liked about the structure of the class is the variety of instructional strategies you employed. It kept the class interesting throughout the two days! One of the best parts of the class is that it continues after the two days. The followup questions are a great idea. There's no way all of that learning would stick after just two days. But the daily followup e-mails get us to recall and apply that new learning--that's a big help in committing this new information to long-term memory. John clearly brings many years of experience in negotiating to bear when teaching this course!

I enjoyed Fathom's management training experience led by John Males immensely and got so much out of it. I really appreciate the care and expertise he brought - and just how present he was throughout. It is rare that something like this far exceeds one's expectations, but this surely did!

I had the opportunity to participate in Generations in the Workplace training facilitated by John Males. The program provided me a better, clearer understanding of the values and characteristics of different generations. The exercises and case studies helped sharpen my ability to identify issues, understand generational perspectives behind them, and how to build bridges that lead to positive outcomes and effective relationships across our team.
