My wife and I first traveled with First Cabin 22 years ago shortly after 9/11. We had been referred to Robert Kenyon by friends here in The Bahamas where we live. We wanted to visit Myanmar and because of the political situation there we knew that this would not be a particularly easy task. We were already going to be in Thailand and Cambodia and wanted to add Myanmar to our itinerary. That trip came off without a hitch. We were very pleased. Earlier this year we decided to plan a trip to Japan, which has forever been on our bucket list, and immediately contacted Robert who then put together a 3 week itinerary for us. Needless to say we were not disappointed. We have only in the last few days returned from that trip and truly feel that we came away with a deep understanding and appreciation of this beautiful country, its people and its culture. We know how difficult it is to coordinate people and events especially in remote areas. It only takes a minor slip up to ruin a day or an entire trip. I have wanted to travel to Kenya, its conservatories and Masai Mara National Reserve, since I was 17 years old. I knew I wanted my trip to be a personal, 5-star venture. Traveling with Robert and First Cabin Travel to Angkor Watt, Vietnam, Thailand and Laos several years ago, was an amazing first-class experience that set the bar high for me. After retiring last year, I planned my “bucket list” trip with First Cabin -- an 11-day safari trip to four, 5-star conservatories in Kenya; staying in beautiful, luxury tents and accommodations with welcoming hospitality provided by friendly and the best service-oriented staff. Arrangements were well planned with every detail taken care of for us; can’t compliment enough the excellent scouts showing us all the beauty and wondrous wildlife of Africa; special out-on-the-plains “bush” breakfasts and “sundowners” enjoying cocktails at sunset. My wife and I have a passion for travel to visit exciting destinations and experience the different cultures around the world. Our many travels with First Cabin have provided a consistent worry-free totally enjoyable travel experience. First Cabin has always exceeded our expectations. Our most recent Adventure to South Africa trip was a wonderful example of this. The highlight of this trip was the luxurious tented camps we stayed at in Botswana. The morning and evening games runs brought us close to a wide variety of wildlife. One of the other unique aspects of the Botswana game viewing was that we never saw another safari group on any of our many game runs! It was as if we were there alone in this last unspoiled wilderness in Africa. We also thoroughly enjoyed the Rovos Rail trip from Pretoria to Cape Town. The relaxing environment of the train coupled with the fine cuisine make it one of the most luxurious trains in the world. Travelling on the Rovos Rail was a spectacular way to end this trip!

Robert Kenyon at First Cabin Travel put together the most fabulous safari trip to Kenya. The expertise he provided beforehand and throughout our trip was first rate service. From the 5 star accommodations to the personal services provided at each of the camps I stayed at. Highly recommend him and First Cabin.

I have taken multiple group tours with First Cabin and have been more than satisfied with every one of them. Robert Kenyon gives an extra touch to each of his tours to assure that travelers are in touch with the local country and still have the best accommodations available. I remember his advice when first traveling to India back in the 1980s: Don't try to change India; Let India change you. I remember that advice whenever I travel to a new destination and it has proven the best travel advice ever given. I have also had him arrange a trip to the Middle East for me and 5 others. It went off without a hitch and was cheaper than many regular tour groups. I would travel again without hesitation.
