Status: During a recent phone call with your support team, I was explicitly told that my case was closed and that my account balance was $0.00. I was assured that I would receive a confirmation email to this effect. However, when I insisted on staying on the line until the confirmation email was received, the call was abruptly disconnected by the agent. This behavior is not only unprofessional but also highly suspicious. 2. Failure to Provide Confirmation Emails: Despite being told multiple times that my payment has been received and that my account balance is clear, I have yet to receive any written confirmation. This lack of documentation is alarming and raises serious concerns about the integrity of your company’s practices. 3. Continued Harassment for Payment: Even after being assured over the phone that my payment had been received and my account was settled, I continue to receive demands for additional payments. This is completely unacceptable. It is clear that Gap is engaging in misleading and potentially fraudulent practices by not honoring verbal confirmations and by failing to provide written proof of account status. 4. Potential Scamming Practices: The way this situation has been handled strongly suggests that Gap may be intentionally misleading customers to extract additional payments, despite having already confirmed receipt of the required funds. The refusal to send confirmation letters and the continued demands for more money, despite confirming that my account is settled, indicate a pattern of deceptive behavior. 5. Unprofessional Conduct: The fact that an agent hung up on me when I requested to stay on the line until I received written confirmation further supports my concern that Gap is not operating in good faith. This conduct is entirely unacceptable and has only served to further erode my trust in your company.
@gap This month, we purchased items at Gap Factory (915 Ridgewalk Pkwy, Woodstock, GA 30188) for a special occasion, but after just one wear, the quality was awful. We called customer service and were told to go to the store for a refund due to poor quality, as it wasn’t an online purchase. However, when we arrived, the store refused to help. It’s very disappointing that GAP, once known for great fabrics, now sells low-quality items and doesn’t stand by their products. 😲💔 To make matters worse, we drove 1 hour and 30 minutes to get to the store, only to be denied any solution. This is an insult to loyal customers like us, who have trusted this brand for years. In the past, their knit fabrics were excellent. I still have Gap items that have withstood years of washing and remain intact. Now, not only do their products fail to meet even basic standards, but the company refuses to stand behind their poor-quality items. It’s disheartening to see a brand I once valued so highly disregard its customers in this way. I do not recommend Gap. If you’re thinking of buying here, think twice. It’s not worth risking your money on low-quality products with no satisfaction guarantee.
TOTAL STAR ZERO -0 EXTREMELY DECEPTIVE PRACTICE OF OFFERING GAP CREDIT CARD. I accepted at the store went thru process of applying only to find they gave me a GAP MC.. Never would have applied if I had known prior to applying. Not at all interested in having another bank card. Extremely deceptive. Never once told OR ANY mention of MC. ALL I WANTED WAS GAP CARD NOT BANK CARD. CALLED BARCLAYS REPEATEDLY REQUESTED ONLY WANT GAP CARD TO DEAF EARS. I NEVER ACTIVATED THE CARD. I HAD TO CALL FINALLY TO CANCEL GAP MC. Extremely disappointed that Gap just doesn’t care, unable to get help/ assistance in resolving matter. OH WELL, IT’S THEIR LOSS. DISAPPOINTED IN GAP CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Gap Company has deducted payments from my credit card, which I am not happy about. I contacted customer service on a couple of occasions, to reverse the extra payment and they refused to credit the payment back to my credit card. That’s unethical and unacceptable. This is ultimately the second time ,Gap Company took out a double payment from me and never returned it back to my credit card.
I've been a loyal gap customer, credit card owner and consistently making $400 plus purchases multiple times throughout a year. Recently I was charged interest on a credit card that had a $0 balance. I called and with no sufficient reason I decided to close my account because that seemed shady to me. On that call I was told I had $250 dollars in Gap points to use. I went to the store to use them and was told by the cashier that they saw no such thing. After almost an hour on the phone with customer service I was told they would reach out to me as to why it couldn't be seen and I was given a 20% off code to use for my purchase. The credit didn't work, an I still spent $309 dollars in the store that day. Fast forward to a month later, endless calls to Gap I was finally told that the points I EARNED, expired 3 days before I went to use them in store. At no point did any customer service rep or anyone in the escalation dept could explain to me that they expired they just kept saying they were looking into the issue. After speaking with Elias in the escalations dept he made me aware offered me $100 to "appease" me for their horrid communication as a multi million, possibly billion dollar company. I was livid, not only did I earn that credit but it took multiple calls to even be told what was going on. Not to mention the money I earned would've been used in their store so there was no loss For them. I'm writing this elaborate story because I'm tired as a consumer of being loyal to these companies that treat us as money grab disregarding loyalty and commitment. I will no longer be shopping at the Gap or any umbrella companies affiliated with them.
Old Navy has long given support for LGBTQ+ causes through both policy and product for years. Beginning in the mid 2010s, the brand adopted inclusive non gender restroom and fitting room practices aligned with gender identity, and it has continued to promote Pride visibility each June through its annual Pride collections. In recent years, Old Navy’s Pride line has included affordable kids’ items such as rainbow-themed T-shirts, “Pride” slogan tees, and family matching sets, alongside adult styles featuring bold rainbow graphics and messages. Some retailers scaled back in store Pride displays in 2024 and Old Navy kept its Pride merchandise available online and in select locations, maintaining access to the same youth oriented designs. For people who believe that biological sex is fixed and that the nuclear family of a man, a woman, and their children is the proper foundation for society, these actions are not neutral; they represent active support and promotion of an ideology that runs contrary to that belief. I want LGBTQ+ individuals to feel safe and respected, and I care deeply for family members in that community, but I cannot financially support an organization that promotes messaging I believe undermines traditional family values, especially when it is marketed to impressionable children.
