This was my first time getting a 'real suit' and I was happy with how the whole process went! I really appreciated working with Bradley; he gave good advice on design features and gave me status updates as the suit was being made. Plus, the suit was done on the exact date he said. If I ever need another suit, I'd for sure go back!

Got to work with Bradley who helped me every step of the way. His knowledge of every piece made it a smooth process and I’m extremely pleased with the end product. Bradley also does final alterations after your suit comes in to make sure it’s exactly how you want it. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a custom suit.
This is an edited review from my original: so, I originally had a very negative experience from a company called "Ratio" that Black Lapel bought out. HUGE improvement, Bradley over at Black Lapel really went out of his way to make things right for me, even though Ratio wasn't even around anymore...but that's just how they do business over there. So far, their work has been great (clothes and suit looking wonderful) but I've been even more impressed by the service. I'm just happy to see that there are still companies out there that still believe in taking care of customers. I will be back !
This review is specific to the new management under the name Black Lapel. I was not a customer of Ratio so cannot speak to how it has changed, but my personal experience has been nothing short of exceptional. The new manager, Bradley, has been a pleasure to work with in every step of the suit buying process, from the initial fitting all the way to final adjustments. He is very knowledgeable and made the process really easy. If you’re looking for high quality custom-made menswear with fantastic customer service, I highly recommend Black Lapel and Bradley specifically!
