The kitchen is great. food was hot and came out fast. the fries were way over salted but that’s my only complaint about the food. Service on the other hand, sucked. the bartender was way more interested in talking with her coworkers and i think the manager then tending bar. I had to get her attention 3 times to order. there was only 3 of us at the bar. atmosphere and food was great, service need some major help…

Great place to grab a beer and a snack and have fun if you're in Old City Philadelphia. Toilets, games, and lots of drinks to chose from. Food menu is limited and it's not the best...but if you're looking for a place to kill an hour or two before an event in the area, you're wandering around the streets of Philly, or you want a beer before heading in for the night, a great spot with a laid back, fun vibe.

This is a neat spot, very well conceived and a good use of Urban space that blends the outdoors into hospitality spaces. Walking up, you'll see what appears to be a nicely appointed patio-esque space, with plenty of seating. The bar, proper, is partially covered with wide-open spaces facilitating foot traffic and seating. Bar is located approximately in the middle and server do come around to serve the patrons. Food is a solid "B" for bar fare, in my opinion. The selling point really is the diversity in gathering spaces - there could easily be 300+ people there and it would not feel crowded. Located near the heart of the city so parking is what it is; be sure and "measure twice, cut once" when parking or you will have to add fines on top of what you spent for your bar tab. Drinks are a trifle expensive, so don't spend your rent budget tryna turn up. A solid spot to go on a weeknight when the weather is nice and the friends are looking for something to do.

This is my go to beer garden in center city. There's plenty of seating with different ambiance in the more rowdy middle section vs more private in the back with lawn games vs a charming wooden pergola draped in green vines. There is a wide selection of beer and the service is excellent. The food is average, and a bit pricy. 100% worth visiting. It's a great place to go for locals or tourists alike.

Great bartenders, Great location and great prices esp for Olde City... Right across the street from the Liberty Bell. And it's all outside... Rain or shine!

The food was disgusting and my drink tasted like sewer water but I would never leave a review until they charged my card at the end of the night for a tip I didn’t give/consent to. When the bartender charged my card he never gave me the option to tip or gave a receipt which isn’t ideal…but it’s a bar. Definitely didn’t appreciate that.

Now this is a Beer Garden! Outside but a lot of it is under cover. A huge space tghat has something for everyone. Its an old 70s style courtyard (the former Rohm Haas/ Dow bldg). Reasonably priceemd apps and of course an awesome craft selection.

Fantastic location, right next to the Liberty bell. Happy hour was good, you really can’t go wrong with a beer on a hot day. The food however, do not set your expectations high. I got the impossible chicken sandwich, it was horrible. The server did comp us that meal, even when setting the dish down the server had the look of “sorry” on his face. Another person in the party had a turkey sandwich and it looked amazing, come to find out they found a couple hairs in the sandwich basket. If you’re just going for a beer though, I would recommend. Anything outside of that, go somewhere else.
