They say they are open to the public, but I felt very unwelcome in there. Someone just sat at a desk in the back and never said a word to me. I left when I couldn't find the price on anything. If you only want b2b sales then take down your “open to the public” sign.
I love this place everything in there pretty reasonable price for what you're getting
We've had multiple orders with Index and each has always been handled very professionally. Ordering and delivery was always easy. Chandler was very thorough and thoughtful with what we needed. They've event sent guys to come help move coolers when we needed and they've even delivered a new cooler in the snow. Can't recommend enough!
This great local restaurant supply store! I always bump into a lot of other local chefs when I’m there! I just loaded up on some catering supplies. Very fast and friendly service! Shopping for a new blender we make a lot of hot salsa!
We repair commercial kitchen equipment but if a customer wants to replace instead, we recommend Index Restaurant Supply. The crew at Index works hard to make sure the customer gets what they need and they stand behind the products they sell. Index and the Juul Family have been in business since 1946 (almost 80yrs) and that alone says all you need to know about how well they treat their customers.
Called looking for a specific item. They were extremely helpful and nice over the phone. This is why I don't buy online. I'd rather talk with local nice people.
I have made quite a few purchases at Index over the last seven years. The workers have been quick to answer questions and find products for me that I didn't see as I poked around--otherwise they do let you look around without standing over your shoulder. The short of it is that they carry good quality food service products of all kinds. Not my idea of a "fun" place to shop, but I appreciate the service and the good products I find there.
I have been a customer for two years and have ALWAYS received PROFESSIONAL, PERSONABLE, PROMPT service. They keep my food truck up and running. Their work ethic, in the store and their delivery guys, is outstanding! They are interested in my business, but they are just as interested in me as a person. Thank you!!!!
It was quick unloading, but unloading is located in back of the store. ,do Not get off at the very exit ,no way I couldn't make the 2nd right turn, see if you can go to the very next exit,remember unloading is back of the store , maybe if you call them they 'll tell you the best way.just careful.
The guys here were quick helpful and friendly.
