Was a cold day, stopped by to get a hot chocolate which was very good and workers were very nice as well.
Eat At Jean’s! Very kind greeting, clean store, and delish breakfast sandwich. Fried egg with hashbrowns and sausage on a soft roll was so good! You gotta grab a sammy if you’re passing by.
Always a great spot. Got a pork roll sandwich today, perfectly made. Love this place, can’t beat the breakfast selection. A “go to” spot if you live/work in center city.
After serendipitously coming across Jean's Cafe our first morning in Philadelphia, there was no discussion where we would have breakfast the next three mornings. It is a no nonsense place with an engaging menu, perfectly adequate seating, pleasant folks taking care of biz, and nicely prepared food. What more could one want in a breakfast/lunch spot that has no pretense, only tastily made offerings provided by nice people. A place like Jean's Cafe makes us happy.
Walked in at 330pm and they were mopping the floor with a disgusting smelly mop, the woman behind the counter didn't seem very interested in working, I was overcharged for my drink, and her response was "you can put it back". The cheese steak was ok, but the hoagie wasn't warmed up or fresh. Overall not a great experience.

Walk right past Wawa on your way to this sweet spot offering a variety of excellent no nonsense sandwich and platter options. Eat inside or take it to go. My scrapple sandwich was gooey with eggs and cheese and that's all I've ever wanted in my life.
Different Cheesesteak #864. Nice clean little place if you are walking around center city. Decent little cheesesteak but it is not worth $9.95 plus tax.

This place is absolutely incredible. It’s everything you need for the selection of drinks in the refrigerators to a perfect cup of coffee to go. The breakfast menu is on point and so delicious. It’s nice to have an independently owned and operated business in the midst of Starbucks and Dunkin. You should eat here!
