Josh and Frank have been great! They first came to install my nest doorbell (within hours of my original inquiry for a quote!), and then I asked them back to help me fix my nest thermostats and troubleshoot a related problem with my HVAC. Josh was super helpful and patient, and I really respect that they are problem solvers - not just here for a quick fix. I felt that Josh and the team were committed to getting to the bottom of it, and honestly tried to save me the trouble of calling in additional vendors when possible. They also gave me a veterans discount for my husband's Army service, and that always shows the heart of a business to me! highly recommend!
I recently bought a new home and contacted LI for some work. Frank and Nicole were very helpful. They were accommodating to requests, responsive to all questions, and did a great job installing my cams, doorbell, and thermostats. I would not hesitate in using their service again. If you’re seeking Nest experts – look no further.
How many companies answer the phone at 8 PM? A technician was scheduled within a week to install a Nest outside security camera. He did a great job, using an existing hole in the brick exterior. I don't remember the installer's name (began with an "R") but he was very helpful. They gave my elderly father a veterans discount which was great. Note that they don't take credit cards, so you have to make other arrangements for payment.
DISHONEST AND UNPROFESSIONAL! Nest recommended LI Contracting, LLC for an e73 error in our Nest thermostat. They are the most unprofessional contractor that gives other legitimate contractors a bad name. The technician asked to inspect our air handler unit and after a few minutes came back and gave me his assessment, pointing at several potential "big" replacements. After consulting with his boss over the phone, the technician quoted me an additional $313 over the $199 diagnostic fee (total $512). I told the technician from LI Contracting that I will just call our normal HVAC guy who just did our routine maintenance a month prior. The technician quickly offered to fix the problem, since he already identified the problem, if I paid him $50 separate from the diagnostic fee. I agreed and asked what the problem was. The technician showed by a small fuse that needed to be replaced, which took 30 seconds. After the technician left, I searched for reviews on LI Contracting. I noticed they got 1-star from what seems to be real customers and 5-stars from what is obviously written by LI Contracting’s friends and family. Yes, I did call Nest and reported my bad experience with this unscrupulous contractor.
They answered the calls on holidays. Wow, I am amazed! My cameras just started malfunctioning, no footage and images. We were so confused. My wife was in panic mode as that was our vacation home... I called other companies, no luck of course but I called them and they actually picked up the phone. The rep was nice and he was willing to help. He even helped my wife calmed down throughout the process and sent the tech asap. These guys are great, highly recommend!!!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY to mess up your AC system!!! Their service costed us $600 and an entire central air control board, and another THOUSAND dollors to get it fixed. Here is the thing, I contacted this company a while ago for two Nest Thermostats installation. The technician Frank was here for hours and went through a lot such as changing wires and adding even more. Right after he left, we noticed there was noise from our central air, and when we called him, he told us appealingly its not working. So he left without making sure things work. UGH. Couple days later, our AC completely went off, we went up to attic to check the control board, its fire up. We contacted him again, he refused to come to fix it and said he was leaving for a trip or something. We suffered a hot week without no AC at all!!!! Had to get another HVAC guys to come take a look, and he said the wires(did by Frank) were all messed up. This whole experience is beyond frustrating. If you dont want to go through the same thing, do not use this company.
Frank and Nicki came to my home and installed 2 Nest cameras and a Ring Flood Light. Now I can see my dogs when I let them outside and can turn on the porch light for them. Thank you L.I. Contracting!
