I called this company and spoke to some guy ORI to do some work for me and I was scammed for my money. Do not work with them I don’t recommend it On the phone the guy would make it seem like he know what he is doing and doesn’t know he says I’ll send someone over and never comes himself then when one of his team members arrives they don’t know anything they walk around run some fans get results which are fake and then tells me we couldn’t pass it because there’s all these other problems with building but can’t point to what is the problem after inspecting house then they recommend going with another company. Then they bill me and cheat me out of money hundreds or thousands saying I have to pay or by giving me falsified results when they couldn’t even do the work. The guy I spoke to on the phone said lll make up some numbers and bill you once I receive results from my guy working for me. I’ve also heard from other customers the same thing and this ain’t the first time cheated customers or falsified results.
The blower door energy audit was a real life saver for us. We knew exactly what we had to do to get our 2nd floor under control. We hired Local Energy Audits to replace our attic insulation and do some weather sealing throughout the house. The 2nd floor is much more comfortable now and I've noticed that the air conditioner does not work constantly as it did before. Ori called us the night before to let us know what to expect. The job was completed quickly and the workers left our house clean as before. Highly recommend 5 stars!
Frustrated with my high electric bills - despite an efficiency drive in lighting and appliances in the house - I suspected that my HVAC was to blame but didn't know where to start. Research suggested an energy audit would be a good place to start, and I am very happy I chose to work with Local Energy Audits. Ori was extremely professional, thorough, and on-time. After the blower door test was set up and running, he walked through every room in the house with me, patiently reviewing all the leaks and explaining possible fixes. The information in his report is invaluable, and I feel infinitely better informed as to how to tackle improving the energy efficiency of my house. Particularly given the new federal tax credits for energy efficiency, I found the price for ~2 hours of Ori's time and expertise, plus the fact that I can now build a plan of attack, to be extraordinarily reasonable. Highly recommend anyone looking for an energy audit to get in touch with them!
I recently contacted Local Energy Audits for help with a suspected duct leak. From the start, they asked all the right questions and even requested pictures to better understand the situation. Based on the information I provided, they recommended a specific service, which, surprisingly, they didn't even sell. They didn't charge me anything for their time, and the advice they gave was invaluable-something I hadn't received from anyone else. Their honesty, professionalism, and genuine desire to help really stood out. I highly recommend them if you're looking for expert advice and outstanding service.
Ori and his team are real professionals. I got the blower door energy audit and hired local energy audits to do remove and replace old attic insulation and weather seal the house. I can say without a doubt it’s money well spent. I see our energy costs going down and the home is much more comfortable in general. I do not usually write reviews but I highly recommend Ori and his crew if you are experiencing high energy bill and home discomfort.
Professional job . Ori was very responsive with my call, he answer right away and got me on his schedule for the next day. He made it a point to come out and do this Service for me even through the big snow storm he still arrived and on time . He truly was very clean and cautious when entering my home and had shoe coverings on like it was his own home to make sure no mess was made . Very reliable and highly recommend .
Don’t hire these guys, they had no clue what they were doing or they’re just scamming. Hired them to improve the airflow in our home to the 2nd floor, one dude had his phone out chat GPTing info in front of me. Charged upwards of $3k to basically tape a few joints of vent work, and literally there is 0 difference in airflow in our home since they did whatever they did. Had to call them twice to remind them to come back out because they forgot to finish whatever they were doing, and left trash that my mom had to clean up. They also instead of putting the right sized filter in our HVAC system just stuck 3 smaller ones inside, I guess they got the wrong size and couldn’t be bothered to get the right one? Literally spent $3k for them to come out and basically do nothing it felt like, don’t hire them.
Ori from Local Energy Audits was prompt, kind and came out same day as initial phone call. He was knowledgeable and left the property as he found it. Great experience and I recommend using this company, as all new construction builds appear to need this testing.
I highly recommend Local Energy Audits if a Blower Door Test is needed. Ori is very professional and knowledgeable. He responded promptly and provided excellent customer service. Traveled to Little Egg Harbor to perform the test we needed.
