TL;DR: This business engages in FRAUDULENT window tinting claiming to install Xpel tints and instead installing some other brand of tint. You can call Xpel to check yourself - Miami Auto Spa IS NOT AN AUTHORIZED XPEL DEALER. I went to Miami Auto Spa (561 SW 8th St, Miami, FL 33130) on June 5, 2021 to have Xpel Prime XR+ Black 55 installed on my car's windshield. After the tint was installed, I noticed that I had not received a written pre-estimate of the work - detailing what exactly was to be done to my car, what tint would be installed, or the price. I also realized that I was not provided an XPEL warranty card - therefore giving me no proof of warranty and making my warranty un-transferable. I reached out to them immediately after installation to try to get a warranty card, but they refused to do so... Later on and with more time behind the wheel, I noticed that the tint was particularly grainy and hindered my visibility, particularly during night-time driving but also during daytime driving. I went back in-person to Miami Auto Spa and shared my concerns regarding the graininess of the film, but they said it looked fine and wanted to charge me $250 in order to replace it. Unhappy with how I was treated, I decided to go to another Authorized XPEL dealer to remove and replace the windshield tint. Upon removal of the tint installed by Miami Auto Spa, the owner of the other dealer informed me that the tint I had installed was neither Black nor 55 - he used a VLT meter to show me that the VLT was 67. In other words, I neither had XPEL Prime XR+ Black installed nor 55 tint installed either. I proceeded to notify Miami Auto Spa of the problem and request a refund of the money I had paid, at which point an employee by the name of Harold refused to provide me a refund - claiming that since I went to another dealer he could not provide me a refund and that if I had gone to him he would have gladly replaced it (Note that I did go to him previously and he wanted to charge me $250 then...). After refusing my request for refund, I notified him that I would file a complain with Xpel and a Fraud Complaint with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services which oversees Motor Vehicle Services. To which, he responded that I should have the other dealer call him to corroborate my story otherwise he could not verify that the tint I had removed was indeed the tint that he had installed. I gladly agreed and called him shortly thereafter with the owner of the other dealer on-the-line ready to corroborate my account, only to find that he had blocked my number and no longer responded to my text messages. I even tried calling from a different phone number, to which he responded - but after telling him I had the owner of the other dealer on the line, he proceeded to hang-up and block that number as well...

Update January 2025: This place is incredibly shady. They’ve removed all the prices, which leaves customers at the mercy of their arbitrary pricing scheme. The price seems to depend entirely on the car you drive. Here’s what happened: the attendant sent his cleaner to inspect my car (already in good condition) and quoted me $60 for a simple car wash. Then, the attendant came back and raised it to $75 without explanation. Absolutely unacceptable. Save yourself the frustration and take advantage of the car wash services offered at many buildings around Brickell instead.

$129 for Regular inside/outside wash, imperfections (I had to wipe off some parts), no good communication/service (unclear price). Also personally didn’t like fragrance , that is too strong so I had to leave door open for a while. Owner changed? I paid $75 for the same service w better quality before here.

I've been going to this spot for the last 6 years for simple car washes and within the last year the quality had noticeably declined. The last handful of washes I've had to have them wipe down multiple spots they've missed. This time it was multiple spots on my driver's side door. I pay $70 for this and can't fathom why they think bringing it out like that is acceptable? I didn't even say anything. Tired of saying anything. I just won't be back.

Absolutely awful experience at Miami Auto Spa. The moment I pulled in, I was bombarded with aggressive sales tactics—no greeting, no explanation, just someone immediately spitting out random prices at me like an auctioneer. I barely had time to process what was happening before they kept pushing for the most expensive package without even asking what I wanted. The whole vibe was uncomfortable and unprofessional, and I ended up leaving without getting my car washed. If you prefer a place that actually values customer service instead of just trying to pressure you into overpaying, go somewhere else.

Went to claim the "lifetime warranty" as claimed on there site because a wheel I got repainted from a minor curb rash started to chip off. Firstly, they could not "find me" in the system so the manager said I couldn't prove it was done there even after providing my bank statements. Secondly, I was told that since it was done 5 months ago that its too late to claim the "lifetime warranty" that is stated on their website. The paint started chipping off after 5 months of normal washes. I have included a video below.

Very bad service, they barely clean the cars. On my way back home witht the car getting some sun light started seeig all the dirty spots they left unclean. Would not recommend to anyone.

First and only place I'll go to get tints for my cars in Miami. Just moved from Jersey to FL. Excellent customer service.. look for Harold, he will totally take care of you with his crew and btw.. tints are done super fast and best work! A++++

This is the only place that I have ever taken my car too for cleaning. My first car was a Porsche Macon and this car is an Audi Q5. I had spilled a coffee smoothie on the seat of my car and it was dried there for several months. They cleaned it and made it look like new. They always take care of my vehicle and it comes out looking beautiful. They’re also very nice and fast and friendly. 5 STARS!!!!

Have had 5 cars tinted and detailed at this location ! They do great work!! Keep your receipt and they give you a 10 year guarantee!! ANTONIO * is new and really took care of me and a detail I needed fixed. Communication was great and went out of his way to keep so wine like me staying with the company. I definitely recommend this place for any type of detail detailing tinting or ceramic coating on your car. These guys are professionals !! Thank you miami auto spa
