Take out only of course at this time. Safe social distancing and clearly marked places to stand. Employees enforce the policies which I appreciate! Still the same excellent quality coffee and treats!
They serve great coffee and a range of drink selection from tea fogs to specialty coffee. The cafe also has interesting vibe, airy and spacious place with smoothing music in the background. A lot of ppl are here to catch up with work / reading.
Tucked beneath the Aurora Bridge in Fremont, Milstead & Co. is everything I want in a third-wave coffee shop — thoughtful, restrained, and quietly excellent. The space is minimalist but warm, with Scandinavian tones and just enough bustle to feel alive without overwhelming. The baristas here are serious about their craft but never pretentious. My pour-over (a washed Ethiopian from Heart Roasters) had a citrusy brightness and clarity I rarely find outside Tokyo or Copenhagen. They rotate roasters frequently, which speaks to both taste and confidence. For those who appreciate precision in their coffee and a break from the corporate-feel cafés downtown, this is the spot. A must-visit for coffee purists visiting Seattle.

I particularly don't care for the lack of ceramic cups and only having the option of paper or plastic cups. It is an inferior experience to ceramic and takes away from the experience. Though I do thoroughly appreciate the great selection of quality whole bean coffee, this is not enough to ever go back again. There are too many alternative options in Seattle.
This is the best quality coffee and espresso in the area, and I'd argue top five in Seattle I've tried so far. It's also such a good ambiance and place to work/study inside or outside. Views of the mountain on a clear day! And the baristas are always so kind.
Milstead really sets the bar for coffee and none of the other cafes in Fremont compare to the quality Milstead offers. I’ve never had a latte from Milstead that I didn’t like. I highly recommend their house made lavender syrup (usually available spring/summer). Baristas are always kind and welcoming while making orders super quick. It’s also a clean and comfortable environment to setup a laptop and work for a while.
Best coffee in Fremont. Quality comes across through attention to detail in service, and the coffee is delicious. Laptops welcome as well as conversation. They have several free WiFi networks. Never not busy.
Best tasting coffee in seattle area. Nothing beats this place. Columbian beans were amazing. Cold brew was life changing.
