It's a great coffee place. The coffee is great especially their blend coffee. The space is big too but the time we visited it was packed. A lot of people here, chill and work. They also have outside seating area which would be really nice in summers. Enjoy the coffee..
Latte was good but on the milky side the first time around. Second time around was great. Ambience is pretty good and would definitely come by for a work sess.
I ordered the homemade salted caramel latte and asked it to be a little less sweet than normal. It came out PERFECT. The caramel flavor was fresh and subtle and absolutely delicious. A great little stop on our way to see the troll!
The staff are so nice here. I like getting coffee here often. The pastries are great and the coffee is amazing 90% of the time. Every once in a while I get a burnt tasting cappuccino.
Great coffee, friendly service, and bright store, Milstead & Co. is one of the better coffee shops in Fremont. With gorgeous full wall windows and an airy space, this is not a cold place, but not particularly warm either. Well, maybe it's because of the spacious yet empty space due to COVID. There is a delicate, well calculated and balanced air of serenity and congeniality in the shop. Coffee is excellent here, although I feel that the excellence comes more out of perfection than passion. Their croissants are from Temple Pastries and they are fantastic! (Other baked goods from Macrina which are just meh). The location is awesome. Right by Lake Union with plenty of places within walking distance to visit or sit down.
Amazing quality and selection of beans! The staff are lovely. My main feedback is that it’s SUCH a premium price that the to-go cups for everything really takes away from the experience. (Also.. wasteful.) A beautiful, locally made set of ceramic ware plus sidecars for espresso drinks and other small touches would make the price tag feel more warranted.
Friendly staff and good selection of coffee drinks available. They will do pour overs and aeropress on top of some great espresso style drinks/lattes. The view sitting outside is amazing.
Cute cafe that focuses on quality! We ordered the matcha (it had a hint of Madagascar vanilla that was the perfect touch). They also sell a variety of beans from different roasters (both local and out-of-state). They all give a roast date and region too (roast dates were recent too)! We did not order an espresso based drink, but they list the region and notes of the beans on the menu, which is a good sign of high quality.
Coffee was good, pastries were good, not overly sweet. I was bummed that my $7 pour over was prepared with an aeropress and in a paper cup. Kinda kills the high end coffee vibe going here. I do appreciate the friendly staff, and the quality assortment of coffee, tea, chocolate, and gear for sale.
To be fair I got matcha but anyways didn’t like my matcha, was very try watery and milky with not much flavor. They didn’t really have a lot of speciality or seasonal drinks. Overall just your average coffee shop with nice seating.
