We hired Monte to come up with a plan to repair the subfloor in an area of our house where the floor joists had a bad case of dry rot. He thought of a solution that managed to save our existing flooring and wound up costing several thousand less than the other estimates we received. He then consulted with our contractor (Duval Construction) in order to successfully complete the work. We are so grateful for his work in helping us through a stressful time and his expertise in figuring out the best way to accomplish what seemed like a very daunting project.
Every 5 Star review is a questionable. . Monte Stott accepted an engineering assignment from our contractor . (paid 3/21). It took him one year to get a plan. City asked for soil report so we are going on two years!!! Our house has more cracks everyday!.interest rates other costs rising! Monte NEVER RETURNS PHONE CALLS DION’t subject yourself to his business!
I'd have to agree with the other negative review. Knowledgeable but after an initial consultation, was impossible to reach, even to decline the project, making the initial investment a total loss. Avoid.
