During my vacation in New York, I wanted to find a leather jacket to wear back home and was met with super expensive prices in Manhattan. I intended to go to "Daniel's" based on the reviews but I stumbled into Nick & Sons on accident and still found a nice jacket. Nick was very kind in helping me find a jacket in a style that I wanted that was within my budget. This place is worth checking out if you have time.

I went there August 1st to buy a coffee racer style leather jacket. He knew exactly what I wanted and I got a good price. Small store, but stuffed with good quality products and good service. Just an all-round good NYC shopping experience!

I've been going to Nick & Son for over 3 years now. My mom took me here because she knew Orchard Street was the place to go. After getting bullied into stores we felt uncomfortable and were ready to leave but we said one more store. We made the right choice stepping into Nick & Son. I bought a suit for my college graduation and let's just say I was a bit big. Nick was the nicest guy and cared how I looked in a suit not how big I was. He can measure you by eye as well. Try finding someone that can do that at an department store. Everyone is extremely professional and you get old school customer service, caring and charisma you would not believe. Since that time 3 years ago I've lost a significant amount of weight and needed another suit. Not only did they recognize me after such a long time they remembered when they saw me last and what I bought and my stories. I wish my doctor had that kind of service. Their prices are great, selection is fantastic they have even more items in the shop, i'd buy online but its definitely worth the time to meet these guys. They don't pressure you into buying more expensive they let you buy what you want. I don't say this about any store/service but these guys have my business for life.

Nick & Son is a nice place for leather jacket in New York, probably the best place for tourists, especially when you have your target jacket looking for a retail store. I'm from Hong Kong, coming along to New York to look for a Schott Leather jacket, because of my skinny body, I can't trust the online store & I must do the fitting before buying. But there's nowhere in NYC that I can find a size 34 Schott jacket... The smallest I could find is size 38 and actually everywhere selling size 41 or up. So Nick & Son is the best place there! The nice Nick's' knew my request and ordered a few different size (32,34...) for me immediately so I could try the fitting on the following day. They actually went to the Schott factory just to get a few jackets for me to fit in! At the end I got the Schott 141 in size 34 that I've dreamed of before leaving U.S.A So for the tourists looking for Schott jacket that you can't find on web or anywhere else (especially deadstock small sizes for Asian), go to Nick & Son then they'll do anything to get you the jacket! Be smart and email them for what you want first so they can order it for you to try on. Best hardcore service in town!

A very good shop. It seems to be little, but they have a lot of stuff. Nick knows what you want, and he will find it for you. All jackets seems to be sold at a great price (Nick sold mine for 350$ instead of 500). If you want a leather jacket, go to his store!

I looked online for a Schott 141 jacket, but I can't buy a jacket without trying it on first. I found Nicks and Son online and thought I would check out the jacket there and buy it online afterwards. I went to Nicks and Son which has a huge selection and Nick was very helpful in finding the size that fit me, giving me advice on what looked good, and all around great service, with no pressure to buy. As it turns out their price was the same or better from what I found online so I bought it at Nicks. I am sure I won't regret it. Nick said if there are any problems with the jacket just bring it back here and I will take care of it. Try that online.
