I really enjoy the hoagies from old Nelson they are always so neat and organized and delicious. Sprouts and avocado IMO makes it extra tasty! These spots don’t get enough credit. It isn’t traditional Philly whatsoever but so good. They should make a “Philly special” and just get bigger rolls double the meat and 1.5x the cheese and do everything else the same. Xo
They have have everything you need at this store and I haven’t had an issue until now. On Google and their front door it clearly says the store closes at 11:00 PM on Saturday and Friday. I went there today (Saturday) around 9:50 only for them to lock the door on me and tell me I wasn’t allowed to purchase at that time. On a previous day last week I was met with the same problem on a weekday. They should correct whatever that issue is.
I did not feel like a valued customer, I was treated like a criminal even though I was look for treats while I studied on campus. I felt unwelcomed and they seemed hostile.
hands down the best spot on campus for all of my needs: food, medicine, wine, etc. friendly staff who are great at building rapport with customers.
I ordered a sandwich which was actually pretty good (chips were stale) but the service is horrible. The staff is very unwelcoming and rude.
Staff is so kind and the deli is so good I always enjoy my sandwiches and coffee from there. They also have a great selection of Beer and Wine as long as some small drinks and asian snacks, they have it all. Hands down my fave spot to grab something on Temple Campus.
Recently went in and the woman at the front counter watched me like a HAWK. Ive been watched in stores often due to be a darker person before but never like this. Im not an a intimidating looking person at all, i come in often and always make multiple purchases and tip. Usually i go in and out pretty quickly but today i wanted to try something new so i spent some time looking at their drink options. There are alot so i was taking my time but I felt so uncomfortable feeling her stare I didnt even want to go up to the counter and just opted to leave and buy it somewhere else. I dont know if id feel comfortable going back or recommending it to any of my friends when there are so many other places on campus that dont behave this way.

Food is really good! Also, very convenient
While a bit more pricey than your average convenience store, they have everything you need to grab and go and it’s nice to have one on campus. Also the store is always super clean and organized. I love their fresh cut fruit and they have dorm stuff too (dish soap, trash bags, frozen food etc) Support this local chain! ❤️❤️
