This company is a scam. Why did my bill go up by $40 when I'm using the same amount of power as always? I can't even turn on the heat in the winter because it will bankrupt me. Surge pricing should be illegal.

We had an ice storm and I felt that PGE worked as hard as they could to restore power. Every PGE technician I've ever talked with has been professional and informative.
Experience on average 10 outages of more than 6 hours per year
High prices 5 to 9pm 50 cents a kilowatt you guys are money hungry
Instead of hiring arborist hacks to go around the city butchering trees that have been around longer than PGE start moving power lines underground with some of that pile of money you have so you don't have to keep damaging otherwise healthy trees around the city and ultimately just creating future problems. But but "we're doing this so you're less likely to lose power in the event of a storm" – it's not a real solution. Start digging. Is my power on right now? It is. *slow clap* I pay you for it and then some.
What is up with the price gouging?!?! Call the Secretary of State. Call the Oregon Public Utilities Commission and complain. This is insane. How can anybody afford this??? Organize and resist!
They charge us more and more every year even though we're using less power.
Can’t maintain basic service under normal conditions while consistently raising prices. Make them a public utility already.
