The epitome of community business, and such an inspiration. I contacted Realistically Wholistic on the last month of my pregnancy requesting Placenta Encapsulation services. I was met with a prompt response, consulted on my options, and assured that all will be fine. Along with the encapsulation of my placenta I was provided an assortment of postpartum essentials to naturally assist me through my healing process. I would highly recommend these services.

How do I compartmentalize my experience at Real Whole? I’ve been here a little over a month and I don’t want to leave lol. The last time I was taken care of so thoroughly was during childhood. During the wait for my daughter to make her debut Taj made sure I had everything I needed, was very easy to reach, and checked on me daily. The space feels warm, welcoming, and intentional and has all the amenities you may need for a comfortable stay. I labored safely and brought my daughter earth side in the tub. After her arrival Taj made sure I was fed, full, and feeling well. (The meals were amazing) She took care of laundry, cleaned the space daily, made sure I had all the postpartum herbs I needed, and when my milk hadn’t come in she made sure I had what I needed to encourage it. She even offered a yoni steam and assistance with bathing. I decided to have a lotus birth and she made sure I had all herbs for that as well. After the placenta detached she prepared a pot and soil for us to plant the placenta. It was a beautiful ritual and a great way to honor the organ that nourished my daughter while she was in the womb. When my three year old asked to assist with the planting she showed him how and he learned an ancestral practice along with the purpose of the placenta from her. There’s so many ways my daughter and I were taken care of during our time here by a black mama who literally saves lives for a living. I’ve admired the community work she’s done for years but the way she has made this care accessible and affordable for women bringing life into this world has truly inspired me. Taj is an angel and I honestly wish this postpartum experience for every mama. Thank you for all that you do.
