Remixologists have a smooth process for hiring/meeting a DJ that is high quality. Ben, aka DJ Benja Styles, curated music for our wedding and he delivered. Very impressive musical flow and a pleasure to work with.

When we got engaged, there were a couple no-brainers when it came to vendor selection - Ben at Remixologists was one of them! I had the pleasure of seeing Ben DJ at a few weddings I was in and could not wait for him to be part of our day! He is warm, approachable, communicative and truly makes the day unforgettable. I had recently lost my dad before our wedding so it was an emotional day but Ben helped us to work through intentional moments for remembrance and then a transition to dancing and celebration that felt natural and cathartic. I would recommend Remixologists to any couple, my sister had another DJ at her wedding and he was phenomenal, but Ben deserves a special recommendation because he is just that wonderful. We never left the dance floor because we had such an amazing time! Thank you Ben, Andrew and I appreciate you being a part of our day!

We cannot express enough how amazing DJ Simon was! Although we definitely put him to work with our Polish music playlist, he absolutely nailed it! All of my Polish family had the best time even our friends who don’t speak a word of Polish were out on the dance floor loving every song. His transitions between Polish hits and American wedding favorites were seamless, keeping the energy high and the dance floor packed the entire night. Simon played for five straight hours without a single dull moment — not one song had an empty dance floor! He also perfectly handled our Polish traditional toasts after the ceremony and did such a great job pronouncing the Polish words — it meant so much to our family. Our ceremony music was flawless, especially my groom’s walk-in song! Simon timed it perfectly, and it truly gave us chills. We first loved him when he DJed our friends’ wedding, and we feel so lucky to have had him for ours. Thank you, Simon, for making our wedding day unforgettable. DJ Jams Bond absolutely crushed it at our wedding. Not only did he bring the energy all night and keep the dance floor packed, but he also went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect. We had some pretty specific requests for sound and gear, and he handled it all like a pro - even brought in an extra-large subwoofer that took the party to the next level. Beyond his skills as a DJ, David’s just a genuinely great guy who was a joy to work with. We couldn’t have asked for a better partner to help us throw the best party of our lives.

Remixologists & DJ Lee were incredible for our wedding! Truly amazing people to work with, and by the end of the night Lee felt like family. The entire process was seamless—Lee took the time to understand our vision and perfectly captured the vibe and energy we wanted throughout the evening. DJ Ben was the best! Incredible DJ for our wedding. Ben was great about getting all the logistics sorted with the venue and operating independently to get set up and prepared on the day of the event. On the day of the wedding, he was the perfect balance of communicative and independent so that we could enjoy the day, trusting that the speakers/music were in good hands. The whole process was super smooth and we could not have asked for a better experience.

We cannot say enough amazing things about our wedding DJ, Lee! From start to finish, he was extremely professional, incredibly detailed, and clearly very prepared. He took the time to understand our vision and executed it flawlessly. The dance floor was packed all night long, and the energy never dipped—he kept the vibes high and the crowd engaged from the first song to the last. So many of our guests commented on how great the music was and how much fun they had. If you’re looking for a DJ who truly knows how to read a room and create an unforgettable night, Lee is the one. If I had to recommend only one vendor we used for our wedding it would without a doubt be DJ Benja Styles (Benjamin Coleman) from Remixologists. Ben made our wedding unforgettable and we could not recommend him more. The dance floor at our reception was packed the entire night and all of our guests could not stop talking about how fantastic our DJ was afterwards. Ben made the process so simple for us. We made a Spotify playlist of songs that we like that represent the vibe of songs we would like to hear played at our wedding. We also created a “must play” list and a “do not play” list and shared with Ben. Ben went above and beyond and played every song that we could have ever wanted to hear at our wedding, all while mixing to transition between songs and keep the music constantly flowing. He is a fantastic DJ who truly made our wedding the best party we have ever been to. Ben also served as our MC for the evening and did a great job. We could not be happier with him as our DJ and MC!

Everyone knows that one of the MOST important elements to a party is the music. It can make or break the vibe. As a musician, I knew that I was going to be extremely picky with what I wanted for the soundtrack to my own wedding. This had to be the party to end all parties. DJ Benja Styles, Barb and the entire crew at The Remixologists delivered everything they promised and more than I knew I needed. Let's start with the most important part... the music. During the booking process (which was extremely easy and user friendly) I was asked for a bit of background on my relationship to music. This question felt purposeful to me... and I believe it was used to help match me to the appropriate fit for the big day. They matched me up with DJ Benja Styles and couldn't have been more spot on. We did an intro zoom call so that DJ Ben and I could chat about musical tastes, desired vibes for the evening and just get to know each other a bit. I think what struck me most was a feeling of comfort that Ben truly understood the eclectic musical tastes of myself, my wife and our guests. I'm talking everything from Rage Against the Machine to K-Pop, Frank Sinatra to Wu-Tang, and everything in between. He understood the assignment, and he proved that at the party! He knew the exact song to play at the exact moment, I don't think I've ever seen a DJ with more skill for reading a room. I was originally on the fence about live band vs DJ. I really like to hear the recorded versions of my favorite songs on the dancefloor... but cannot deny the energy a live band brings to a party. Luckily The Remixologists have a solution for that! We decided to add Barb Duncan who is an INCREDIBLE drummer to the set up. Barb played along with the songs while Ben spun... and it added SO MUCH energy to the night!! I think the amazing thing about how well Barb played, is that she performed enough for you to feel her presence, with perfectly timed syncopated rhythms... but not so much to overshadow the songs. She knew to dial it back on certain songs or let it rip on others... and our guests were raving about the sound! I highly recommend going this route for a unique experience, especially if your playlist is heavy with rock and hip hop! The dance floor was like an explosion of amazing energy (I posted some pics to prove it)... and just when you thought they were gonna let up and slow things down a bit... the party just kept intensifying. This was per my request... we didn't want any dull moments. I will NEVER forget that night, and there are so many core memories I have because of the work that Ben and Barb did. It was absolutely perfect. My friends and family still talk about what an amazing party it was. As far as the overall experience outside of the music.. the communication was ON POINT. Their use of Basecamp to share important spreadsheets and documents was super helpful in keeping organized and making sure that no details were missed. I became so fixated on detailing the playlists that I forgot we actually needed to think logistics... timelines for speeches and key moments, names of the bridal party and family members for announcements, song clips for curated moments... we even had a few games played throughout the night the Ben expertly MC'd for us! My head was spinning at the amount of things we needed to keep track of but Ben is a PROFESSIONAL. This clearly was not his first rodeo and he knew exactly how to guide us through the process and how to keep the evening moving along smoothly. He worked in tandem with our wedding planner and coordinator and we had no worries on the big day (well, none other than the pressure of a life long commitment staring you in the face!). I even had a special request to perform a surprise song for my wife and Ben provided the set up I needed. I could ramble on so much more about how professional, polished and wonderful the crew at The Remixoligists (ESPECAILLY BEN AND BARB) are... they know the process and they KNOW music. So stop your search here... there's no reason to go with anyone else!

DJ Ben was amazing and put together the perfect playlist for our wedding. We provided him a huge range from KPOP, Disco , and 90s nostalgia hits and he crafted a great playlists with fluid transitions. Also he truly adapts to the audience and MCs to the perfect temperature of the room. If you were born in 90s, Ben is a must.
