Very clean appearance, and staff is super friendly and helpful. Aaron (I think is his name) was very helpful when I made a pickup door dashing
In all honesty I may be a little biased because of how well the owner and I get along but I’m going to do my best to be objective. I go for Bourbon, and Rye selections when I shop for liquor but it is nice to walk into a place and see a great plethora of wine and other spirits. Still awesome walking in the door to find a bottle of Caymus in stock. Bourbons and whiskey in general are abound in this place, even a great selection of allocated and store picks to choose from. Decent price range and definitely helps to be apart of the rewards program for those hard to find bottles but if you are hunting for special bottles this is a place to find a great selection every month. Try to go early in the day if you want to make a great connection or feel free to ask the staff who are more than happy to help to make recommendations. Would recommend this place to anyone. Also, showcasing a few bottles I was able to find or be fortunate enough to have reward points for.
Quintessential dive bar located in downtown Jacksonville. Mike was a great bartender, super extensive and very knowledgeable on the products they carried.
Vrihi is so wonderful as is all the staff! They are getting new wine selections in all the time! A great deal on a delicious Sancerre going on now! It is so nice we have a place with this selection in the neighborhood and to be able to drive up to the window! Added bonus, a treat for your dogs at the window!
This Shores is a hidden gem. Great selection of liquor at a very reasonable price. Nice selection of allocated bourban at a fair price. The best part is that the staff is very friendly and willing to go the extra mile to help you. They do a GREAT job of taking care of thier loyal customers which is not a normal practice these days.
I ordered some things online and nothing arrived which i know isn’t their fault but when i called to ask some questions to try and get an answer from them the person picked up and said “hello” first of all that’s terrible customer service you’re speaking for a business you shouldn’t just say hello absolutely terrible service, Then after i explained my problem and asked if i could dispute my order or get a refund and i was met with silence and then they hung up the phone, I’ve never been here before and maybe the service is great some days but sounds like they need to work on a lot of things with their team.
Wandered into this place while in Jacksonville. The lady that owns it is super nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend buying your spirits from here. The pricing is reasonable and her staff is very accommodating. I'll be going back for sure.
My kind of neighborhood liquor store. Good variety and the price is right. Hardly a difference to the grocery store in beer and wine pricing. They have a dive bar there too if you are interested 🍹🍸🍷🍾🍻🍺
Good staff, music, tvs and activities to make your night pleasant. What else do you want from a bar? Well, ok . . . I don't think they serve food, but it's a bar. Update :Nov 18th 2022. Still a great place for a good time. Good ol Monty's. But with it's updates it's a good bar, with good people. The pong game is a hoot to watch people play.
The bartender today was totally out of line. Me and my significant other came in for a cocktail but this bartender was extremely flirtatious with my other half. Keep in mind when I say this ..I bar tendended myself for many years. She was COMPLETELY out of line. SOOOO disrespectful. Who does this??? Just openly MAJOR flirting and wanting to exchange information. So maybe u guys can remove the issue.
