Sent out several emails about a merger between intellicentrics and symplr and that the price has doubled but so has coverage. Turns out the price doubled for symplr and intellicentrics and they are still pretending to be two separate companies despite both being owned by the same private equity firm. Extortion. They also shuffled hospital between the 2 companies to ensure you need both. Now cost $1200 for credentialing. I will be reporting.

Hard to log in to account, credentials are hard to submit, you have to go between web site and mobile app to complete credentials. Passwords on web site and mobile app are different. Worst rep service on market.

Horrible service. I tried to check in with a hospital using their kiosk that said Symplr/Intellicentrics, and of course, nothing comes up on the kiosk or my Symplr mobile app. I call Symplr and ask them what the deal is. They inform me they bought Intellicentrics in Dec. 2024 but are still trying to merge the two companies. If I wanted access, I had to pony up another $550! I asked them when should I expect the accounts to be all in sync. The Stmplr rep said she had no idea. Put plainly, it's extortion. $550 to Symplr (Inonly paid $350 last year) and $550 to Intellicentrics for just one account in my territory. I'm going to do my best to file a complaint and have the DOJ, OIG, or someone look into this unethical practice

I actually appreciate the value Symplr brings to healthcare. It is a needed service. It was my fault for not reading the fine print. I retired over a year ago and was now charged on my AX a year later for an auto renewal. They were sending emails per their policy to my work email address reminding me the auto renewal was coming up and I had to notify them 30 days in advance to not renew. Of course, I don’t have access to that work email. So, I will pay $595.38 for a service in retirement I have no need for. Again, I didn’t read the fine print. So my suggestion is to call and request your auto renewal be removed and they can just send you a bill yearly. And if you are going to sign up for a new access, don’t choose auto renewal. Hope this helps to have you avoid this expense. We can’t control always when our employment ends either by choice or not.

Customer service is lacking, particularly in monopolistic environments where customer treatment isn’t prioritized. Hospitals can credential their employees but often rely on third parties like Symplr, which has been criticized for poor service and lack of respect. This reliance raises concerns about liability, as hospitals bear the consequences of any mistakes made by these vendors. Additionally, the automated emails sent at unreasonable hours highlights the extortion scheme that these "businesses" really are and further complicates vendor relationships and customer satisfaction. You guys are a burden to the healthcare system, unnecessary and you know it.

Symplr is by far the least user friendly, most expensive and most bureaucratic of all the vendor credentialing services. The industry as a whole is a racket, and they are the worst offender. They benefit neither health care provider nor vendor, and in many cases drive up the cost of doing business in the healthcare industry, passing those cost increases on to the consumer or insurance company.

The scanners in hospitals don’t work. It takes 30 minutes to get the badge to print. Seems like a scam
