Last night was our 8th wedding anniversary. Omar was absolutely wonderful and appreciated his hospitality. When we stay here next we will definitely come back to see him again. The food was also excellent!
We went on game day. We have a room at the hotel. After being ignored several times while other guests were attended to, a couple eating at a table nearby told us to just sit down and we would be helped. We sat at our table for twenty minutes - making eye contact with the manager and wait staff several times. NO ONE acknowledged us at all. I understand being understaffed/busy, but the restaurant wasn’t even half full. You could come say hello and tell us it will be a wait and we would have been so understanding. But we were literally ignored for twenty straight minutes. After watching a single guest sit down and IMMEDIATELY be attended to, we walked out. We literally ordered from a different restaurant while sitting at our table being ignored. I’ve worked for 10+ years in food service. I understand being short staffed, I understand being overwhelmed. But ignoring a customer in a half empty dining room is unacceptable. How hard is it to come by and greet us? Would NOT recommend
Very good food at reasonable prices and generous portions. Limited menus should be expanded. Bistro atmosphere was very nice, furnishings were simple but trendy. Bar area had a sports bar feel, but wasn't overly loud or distracting from dining area.
The food is a 5 or so. Do not eat here unless you have no other choice. IF the manager is working, the breakfast burrito is great. Otherwise, there are way too many potatoes, and the tortilla isn't crispy. I was here for 9 days. Dinners are a joke as well. Sad.
I liked the atmosphere more than I liked the carrot cake I had here. That being said, it was pretty good cake, so it follows that the atmosphere was really nice. The service was fantastic and the people were super friendly. And even though part of the restaurant was under renovation, it was still a very comfortable space. We were there later in the evening so it was pretty cleared out and quiet and I can't speak to what it's like at peak hours, but I can imagine it's really nice.
I was staying in Seattle over the weekend and stumbled upon this bistro. It was quite possibly the best breakfast I have had in Seattle! The French toast and the lemon/ricotta pancakes were wonderful! Furthermore, the gentleman working at the counter warmly greeted me both mornings that I ate here. He was very kind and friendly, and I wish that I had gotten his name! He was just the nicest guy! To the gentleman with gray hair and glasses, thank you for the wonderful service! I will definitely be returning to this restaurant when I come back to Seattle!
Delicious food and excellent customer service in an expedited manner. The farmstand breakfast bowl was delicious, somewhat healthy, and very satisfying. The gentleman at the counter at 0630 every morning was helpful, quick, and personable. I was able to sit and eat my breakfast and latte and be at work down the street in under half an hour. Thank you for making my work trip enjoyable!!
About what you expect for a hotel bar. Beers are local and priced well, however the food choices are limited. If you're up for a good conversation, the bartender Omar will certainly oblige
Great place to wind down or visit before heading, out, perfect menu, great food, local IPA's and cocktails. Strongly recommend.
The Bistro is really amazing. Like a hidden gem. Ask for Mary Jane - she is a modern hostess with the mostess, really. She without hesitation helped and really accommodated. Breakfast options were amazing, staff at breakfast was amazing, beer options were solid, we really loved it!!! Great location as well!
