My wife and I had a great experience with Phillip and Lorren at The Crown Group Builders. We definitely had some unorthodox ideas in what we wanted for our home, and we never had any push back, just professional, experienced advice on how to get the most out of the ideas that we had. They had some floor plan templates available to choose from, but in the end we designed our floor plan from scratch. Again no push back on doing this. Lorren was our project manager and I cannot say enough how great he was. He kept the contractors moving and we never felt that there were huge lags in the process, he always got people to come back if there were revisions that needed to be done or changes that needed to be made, and he had a great eye for detail to get things taken care of that my wife and I would have missed. We are incredibly happy with the home we now have and grateful to Phillip, Lorren, and everyone else that helped to bring it to life. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking to build a custom home.

I had a great pleasure working with Philip from Crown Builders in 2018. Philip has built my house with the best quality in every step of the construction. His pricing was very competitive. His timeline was clear and he completed the constructions within initial ETA. His customer service was superb! Now after over 5 years we have not had any single issue with the house. The Builder has been very accommodating, The Truth is very important in our planning and construction of our home. Many Builders are giving an unrealistic timeline for the completion. There are many constraints due to the supply system beyond the builders controls. We have been able to make changes and has not impacted our homes projected completion date. Very Honest and straightforward builder! We would use Crown Group Builders again! If a Builder Promises You 8 months you are not getting Quality!

We do not recommend Calhoun Acres if you're considering building or purchasing a home there. Crown Development Properties, LLC developed and currently manages this neighborhood. We purchased our home just four months ago and are now involved in a dispute with Crown Development Properties, LLC, Couto Homes, and VictorE Homes because the rules outlined in the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions for Calhoun Acres have not been enforced. When I contacted Crown Development Properties, LLC seeking assistance with severe water erosion and drainage issues affecting our property, I was told, and I quote, "We can't make the builders do anything." That response raises an obvious question: What is the purpose of having a legally recorded set of covenants, conditions, and restrictions if the developer and neighborhood manager will not enforce them? Homeowners rely on those documents to protect property values, establish standards, and ensure accountability. Unfortunately, that has not been our experience. If you're considering buying in Calhoun Acres, make sure you thoroughly investigate drainage, erosion, and enforcement of neighborhood restrictions before making a purchase.
