Firstly, don't expect a cheap couple of beers here. Building your own six pack can be quite costly. But, and this is a good but, the selection you're offered is quite good for such a small shop. Looking for a 12 pack of bud or yuengling? They've got that too! Want some snacks to go with your brews? You're in luck. Something sweet? Look no further. I went in pretty late, close to closing, and the associate was polite and helpful.
they have nice selection of beer. I could find some exotic beers too, that’s what I’m enjoying about this place.
Total ripoff artists...charging 2.5 times the price for the same beer in the burbs. Sorry but the price differential for 'city living' is not that much. Great selection but your taking it in the butt. Some people like it that way but not when it comes to beer
Nice staff, but Stone Cold Rip-Off Prices. Good to go to if absolutely in need without planning ahead. Example Acme on South St Angry Orchard Rose is 13 and change while With the 20% discount for a 6 pack of same variety at Foodery is over $18 dollars. That is consumer thievery!
It's been harder to find a lot of the high quality Belgian ales lately, and I really appreciate that Foodery locations continue to carry them. They've also just got a great selection of different kind of beer in general.
The Foodery is the only spot in the immediate area where you can find "exotic" beers or beers from breweries from all around the country. A friend from CA was astonished to find beers from Green Flash Brewery, a San Diego brewery, and Lagunitas Brewing Company. The Foodery's beer isn't cheap- I would list it as moderate-expensive. Still it's the best selection around, and you can mix 6-packs with individual beers if you feel like switching things up. The standard 6-pack of PBR pounders is a very fair $8.50-ish. They accept all credit cards without a minimum, and the staff is always polite and helpful.
Kale was awesome and really personable! I always love coming here.
Damn this place got me messed up even before I drove home. They was serving booze and I was hammering it down, loving itrvery minute, until they said I needed to pay for that largr hummle doll I ate
Bought a Heineken. The only place that sold beer within a mile I think. Good stuff
Little craft beer shop and bodega. It's a little small so just be aware if you're getting beer last minute ahead of something like a football game!
