Love this place..... It was just what I needed at the perfect time
After Thrift Town closed, this has been the best thrift store in the area (my mother and I have been to every thrift store you can think of in the surrounding areas excluding Denton and Dallas)... usually resale shops will have old things from places like JCP and Target, this one has a huge array of brands you've never heard of, and higher end fast fashion. decent prices and the selection is huge, I never leave without having found something. The condition of the clothing is the best in the area. The store never packed, and is always very neat. Housewares are also very good. If you're going to visit any resale shop in Fort Worth, this should be priority.

I stop buy few times week the manager makes you feel like family nice polite to everyone. All ths guys are nice.
They have a big selection of women's and men's clothing as well as children's clothing too. There is also a small selection of furniture. I believe that maybe they send all of the higher end donated items to another store because this store has a low if mid range donated goods but not many high end. It's not like the TSA Thrift Stores in say Houston or Dallas which is surprising with the number of donations the Fort Worth ARC gets. I imagine that alit of the better items are held back by the residents of the Fort Worth ARC for themselves. Either way, if you are looking for some clothing or shoes or household odds and ends to get you by or you just need some good things at a low price then the Fort Worth ARC Salvation Army Thrift Store is the place to go. Not only that but every dollar spent there goes right back into the ARC to help give those men a 2nd chance at life. The money received from the purchase of those items helps those men receive Substance Abuse treatment, life skills class, counseling, and room and board until they complete the 6 month long program. It is a work therapy program where they are required to work 5 or 6 days a week on top of attending classes and meetings. So the next time you are in need of some clothes, shoes, household items or furniture at a very reasonable price, head on over to the TSA ARC Thrift Store. I found a Peter Millar polo for 3.99, (It's a 117.00 at a retail store).
This 28th Street Salvation has a welcomed family feeling created by its staff who are exceptionally helpful and consumate professionals that go Above & Beyond to assist you in any way posiible! Whatever training transpires in this location other organizations could learn how Thrift Retail should be done as well how the end user should be made to feel after walking away! Great Service! Both Thumbs Up!
