TigerLion Arts production "Nature: Walking with Emerson and Thoreau" is a truly unique experience--for the audience as well as for those participating. I've been in the community chorus for the three seasons it was performed in Massachusetts and it has changed my life. Behind the scenes the team is creative, courageous and compassionate, and those qualities are illustrated by their performances. The show is funny, heart warming, clever and such a joy to soak up while you are outside in beautiful venues...rain or shine. The sun warms your cheeks, the wind blows your hair and the owls and birds sing along. And it challenges you to think about how you can build your own world.
The walking plays of TigerLion Arts are truly a spectacle to behold! Masterful visual and physical story tellers, this company brings history to life and awakens hearts to the beauty of the world. From 'Nature' to red nose clowning, this company has a wide range of stories to tell, always presenting truth of the heart.
Tiger lion is awesome ! I’ve been watching their productions for over 20 years from Buddha Prince at Central Park NYC Minneapolis and LA endorsed by the Dalai Lama for three summers. The outdoor play, Nature on Emerson and Thoreau is featured on a prize /Emmy wining documentary. They are heartfelt, impeccably professional, fun for the whole family, and highly inspiring. Their commitment to nature and human goodness makes my heart sing! Go to their productions— they’re amazing! See their documentary and you’ll get a taste.
I love this company!!! I think they are one of the best. Their commitment to bring the theater out into nature and make it available to people of all ages is unique. The way they mix great acting with fantastic music and physical theater is just exquisite. If you ever have the chance to experience one of their shows, consider yourself super fortunate. TigerLion Arts, is just the best!
TigerLion Arts is one of a kind. They bring soul to their work and they engage their audiences in very refreshing ways. If you can participate in a production or are lucky enough to have them in your town - do not hesitate to jump in! Highly recommend!
When TigerLion Arts shares their mission, they mean it. "We celebrate the wisdom of humans and the spirit of nature through artistic works that awaken, inform, and delight communities." And that they do—Bravo!
Markell and Tyson are a creative Tour de force. They are inclusive, deeply grounded, and creative collaborators. Their graceful leadership delights in weaving the creative tapestry necessary to bring their astonishing outdoor productions to life.
We saw the walking nature play. It was excellent. The show was well acted with lovely music and singing, quite amusing, and certainly educational.
TLA creates consistently inspired, original and thoughtful work. Don't miss their productions if they tour in your area.
So inspired by their work!! Really extraordinary, large scale walking theatre. Bravo!
