Prices are a bit ridiculous but I suppose that's what we all expect from UT but the staff are friendly and the store is well organized. I've gotten great UT pieces from here and if they ever decide to put a bunch of their merch on sale I'd for sure interested in buying more.
The store is really nice and there’s a good selection of items but the hold time over the phone is ridiculous. Have been waiting over 15 minutes so far to ask one question.
Everything here is overpriced, but it's a great place to pick up gifts for the Longhorns fans in your life. I'd recommend against getting books for your classes here though. They're generally much cheaper online. Or you can just rent them through Amazon or somewhere.
While in Austin this week, I dropped in with my daughter-in-law and granddaughters. I was so amazed by the friendly and helpful staff. Great selection of clothing as well as gifts. It brought back memories of when I first started at UT in 1980.
I was very pleased that there was parking when visiting the University coop and that you can get 1 hour free parking with validation. The University coop store is across the street so it only a short walk. The people working there were so helpful in getting my online order. Also very courteous and friendly Thanks again!
I go to a UT game in Austin every year and the Coop is a tradition for the game day experience. You can't beat the atmosphere! It's like Longhorn heaven and I can spend hours looking through everything burnt orange. The staff is friendly and helpful as well. Ordering online is easy and shipping is fast. I've even called in asking about a product I had seen in-store but couldn't find online and they searched the store for it and shipped it to me! The only downside to the Coop is that they're pricey - I'm not poor but I personally can't afford most of their products. Overall, it's a great store!

February 2025 New lululemon apparel. September 2024 I have been coming to the University Co-op for many years to find that perfect Texas Longhorns item to wear of gifts for other. I have see this place change and this year once again remodeled where seem to be more organized with nicer merchandise. They have multiple name brands and very good quality stock for both men and women. On the third floor is a discount area worth checking out. The staff is very friendly and if you are a Texas Exes Member then you get %5 off. They have their own parking garage behind their store across the street and free one hour.
This store is cool but my thing is WHERE is all the money going?!?! They say 100% of their profits go to the course material scholarship and that 9,000 students receive said scholarship every year. I am a student and I receive $500 for the ENTIRE academic school year. 9,000 times $500 is 4.5 million, and I know that this store makes that in a day during football season.
My mom loves to stop by anytime we are in Austin. She is a big UT fan. She went to UT Austin law school along w my dad and then later my sister went as well. She loves the merch!
