The staff was pleasant enough; everyone I spoke with seemed caring. But I am left disappointed. I'm going through a very rough patch in which an autoimmune disease has kept me in constant and severe pain. I've been unable to work for well over a year, but in too much pain to do much about it. So I was thrilled and relieved when I received a voicemail telling me that Wayspring could help me with counseling, filing for disability, doctor appointments, and everything else I really need help with right now. I initially spoke with someone for nearly an hour, divulging all of my most personal medical history. She was very kind and informed me that a peer coach would be in touch within 2-3 days. When I didn't hear anything back for two weeks, I called to inquire; and, they immediately set up telehealth visits for me. Unfortunately, I can't afford WiFi, so I rely on my data coverage from my cell provider for all of my internet needs. Apparently my data is not strong enough and the telehealth visits were impossible. Again, I was thrilled when they said that they would send someone to my home to assist with everything. They were to be at my home at 9:00 a.m. to assist with a 9:30 appointment. I know it is lame, but with the excruciating pain I live with because of my disease, that is quite early for me to be alert, awake, and ready for company. I made sure I was up far earlier than usual and ready by 9:00. My 9:30 appointment time came and nobody had arrived, so I made several attempts to log in, but again I could not connect. Shortly before 10:00 I received a text saying that the staff member who was supposed to be coming by had "scheduling issues" and that we'd have to reschedule. I politely replied that that would not be necessary. I truly believe the staff here are very caring and want to help. But I think they need to rearrange some things and recognize that when they're dealing with people with disabilities and financial issues, maybe the standard operations need tuning. Furthermore, I believe if they need to reschedule, advance notice would be far more polite and professional than texting an hour after the scheduled time to say that the appointment wouldn't be taking place at all. I truly am not angry, but I am frustrated and very disappointed; and, I believe, rightfully so.
These people keep calling and emailing me, I’ve never contacted them. I’m Canadian, have no use for an American clinic, haven’t been to America since 2012. I asked to be taken off their email list and got more spam emails in return. I don’t know how they got my email, phone number, or my full name but it’s weird as hell. This has to be harassment
Outstanding office space. Fun atmosphere getting work done. Standing desks for everyone. Very forward thinking and progressive company with an toward helping people.
This is a great company.
