Wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable staff! A fantastic variety of yarns (some from local indie dyers) fiber, and notions. They offer lots of classes for all ages and skill levels. I highly recommend the Spinning class with Mel! The store itself is beautifully clean, perfect for allowing all those beautiful colors of yarn and fiber to stand out. There is also seating and coffee or tea offered if you'd like to simply sit and knit, crochet, or spin. Be sure and check out their house-dyed yarn as it is GORGEOUS and comes in some really wonderful fiber bases.

Update: Still coming to this shop! I have picked up knitting more, and it's nice having a shop like this around. They always have the needles I need, or cables, since I like interchangeables. Their hand dyed yarn is so pretty, I love it! The owners are always so nice, and fun to talk to. Love coming here. Love this place! Finally went in for the first time this last weekend. The ladies were SO kind to me, showed me where everything was at, and they will even hold yarn for you when it comes in if it's out! I am definitely coming back, this shop is so dang cute. They have a very wide variety of yarns, from lace weight to super bulky, with all different types, like acrylic, wool, mohair, etc. I adored looking around and ended up walking out with some chunky wool yarn to try my hand knitting with, since I mostly crochet. I highly recommend stopping by, and they even have local suppliers AND their own brand that is hand dyed! I just wish they were open later during the week, because I work 8-5.

This is a yarn utopia filled with helpful staff who know about all-things-fiber. Also there are fun classes for every level of student. You will not find a lot of cheaper options unfortunately, but this is the place where you’ll buy more high quality fibers from small individual dyers. All I ever ask for now are gift cards for this place!

The shop is beautiful and well organized with lots of different options for yarn color, weight, and texture. If you like picking up locally dyed yarn, W7W has their own in-house line! Hunter was super welcoming and even gave us a walk-through of the yarn dyeing space they use for their Dyeing 101 course! We live about two hours away, but this shop is now a must-visit when we're in FW.

A small store with a big heart for helping people create their projects. My mom is 92 years old. We purchased yarn at the store for a crochet project; she is making a baby blanket for her 41st (!!!!) great grandchild!! After starting the project we discovered we needed more yarn, went back to purchase it, but then found out the color was discontinued by the manufacturer. The sales assistant, Amy, found several vendors in the U.S. that might have some remaining skeins of this color. Amy emailed the info to me and I was able to order it from another store. Mom was so happy to know that she could complete this blanket as she has limitations with activities that she can still enjoy. She loves to crochet. Amy didn’t earn a dollar by doing this for us. She simply helped an elderly woman with a project that leaves its own legacy. Love this customer service! Thank you! Judy

Wonderful store with a wide selection of store dyed yarn and even more yarn from other brands. Well organized by yarn weight. Most of all, this store has the most friendly and helpful staff.

My absolute pleasure!!! Such great selection of colors, quality and project ideas. It was my husband's birthday gift to me to take me there. Amazing idea. I will be back many times and also look forward to classes and just hanging out with other knitters. They also have their own yarn coloring to customize colors. Highly impressed. LOVE this shop! The yarn selection is out of this world. So many different fibers, organized so you can find exactly what you are looking for very easily. Super helpful in answering any knitting or crocheting questions you may have. On site help sessions and classes available.🩷

This Mom and Pop store is a source of many kinds of yarn, the kinds not generally available at places like Hobby Lobby, Michael's, or JoAnn's. There are also just fibers, with different types of spindles to make yarn, and spindles to roll yarn into 'cakes' or 'balls'. There is a welcoming conversation area with comfortable chairs and a couch, for those who want to sit and knit. There is a clean bathroom with fragrant soap. There is a back room with a large table, suitable for a class. The owners, and even the customers, are friendly and knowledgeable, and not at all hoity-toity, despite their beautiful wares. The store is artistically decorated and such a sensory joy to look at and experience.
