Great lightly used furniture, in excellent condition. Very nice selection of glassware ( mostly drinking, wine, and spirit glasses) Small collection of silver items. If your into apparel, they have a decent collection for men, women, and children. I was disappointed in the jewelry selection, bare to nothing. I would have given this place 3 stars for that, but the reason I gave em 5 was because of the service! We had a difficult custom in front of us, but boy did the staff handle them with Grace. The line was held up for about 15 mins, but the only thing that kept my Husband and I eased was hearing the staff's interactions with the customers as well as amongst themselves. All these women are just bowls of sugar and I felt like I was having a conversation with my grandma. Thank you ladies for your outstanding work and attitudes!
From the smile greeting you at the door to the kind service at check out you will enjoy your visit. You will always find a surprise or two. Don't let a full parking lot scare you off. Check the signs posted on the column at the payout counter to see what the days specials are. I found a brand new, never used, still had the paperwork rice cooker. Its also a steamer and a slow cooker. It was 50% off. I paid $9. Great deal for me. Great deal for the work they do. Assistance League of San Antonio is an all volunteer, nonprofit organization. So I came into this store today with my daughter. I reached into my purse to pull out my inhaler, took a puff and put it into my pocket to have on hand. Well some lady who works there I guess thought I was stealing something and proceeded to follow us around the store while we shopped. Everywhere I turned there she was just watching me. Did not appreciate that at all. So now I’m on the hunt for a new thrift store.
One of the best consignment stores in San Antonio. All the nice Ladies that work there are volunteers and provide a great unqiue buying experience. Do an amazing job keeping the store in rotation with new items weekly. Also have great "semi-annual" sales where they have up to 50% off on the entire store. Great Store with an even Greater Cause.

It's one of my favorite little thrift stores. They have nicer items from clothing , to housewares, furniture, linens, books of all kinds, pictures and frames, nic nacs, office items, costume jewelry. You never know what you will find. Nicest bunch of mostly ladies that volunteer there. Look up the hours. They close early 2p and close on Sundays and Monday.
My girls and I love this store! It's good for us and helps give back. And the ladies that volunteer there are great!
Decent prices and high quality stuff, but they sometimes don’t ring items up with the sales so double check. Getting rid of the hold shelf doesn’t benefit anybody, at least give them the option of setting things down and risk someone taking it rather than carrying the stuff everywhere with no carts and small baskets. Unless they invest in carts I think the hold area should be brought back.
Very nice thrift shop, you’ll find some very nice items there. But the philanthropist (volunteers) are not very welcoming especially to people who are different from them. Rude to non English speaking people, seen a homeless woman there once and she said hi to a few volunteers they literally lifted their nose at her in disgust, they ignored her but their faces showed a lot. If you look poor, or are different you get treated badly. They don’t greet you or ask you if you need help. Just a few observations on my visits there. Also I’m all for being successful in life but they really like brag ( shout out) about themselves and their families privileges, travels, university to each other. It’s ok to be successful just treat people better!! Especially under a philanthropist guise. After all of that… they do a wonderful job keeping that store nice :James 2:
