The food was everything! If you go as a group of 3 or more definitely get plates to share. The chickens was cooked beautifully and the broccoli was amazing. Definitely a great spot for meeting up with friends.
1 we messed up and just got really excited for the food and forgot to take pictures of the majority of everything we ate. Recommend the lamb plate, broccoli, gems salad, spicy shrimp, flat bread, avocado fries, lemon curd ricotta with lavender crust, scallops, pretty sure I am missing stuff. Anyway! Plates are made to share c, came with a group and left with a belly filled with yummy goodness! There is nothing on this menu that will disappoint you I guarantee! Everything we had was perfect. 1000% recommend for a date or a group just hanging out. Food was pretty much top notch, service was amazing, and the atmosphere was perfect.
Food was delicious overall. The ravioli could have been cooked a little more but everything else on the table tasted great. Must try the Dubai chocolate dessert - insanely good if you enjoy dark chocolate. It did get a little too sweet after a couple bites but I totally indulged!! We were given dishes that weren’t a part of our order. The server was over worked as they were clearly short staffed, she tried her best to work through it all and expressed regret.
I had a great experience at Black Bottle. The staff made us feel at home. The ambience is perfect for a date night. They have many unique vegetarian options, over a wide variety of cuisines. Everything we ordered was either good or great, and reminiscent of quality homemade food. All the dishes were vegetable heavy, as is visible in the pictures. The best part is the quantities are substantial for the price, given the atmosphere. I will be back to try their other dishes! Suggestion: go lighter on the sweetener in the Chole Bhatura.
What a delightful and tasty experience! We ordered the katsu avocado fries, which I think they might have already had made because they were warm/room temp but still tasty. We also got the pear and caramelized onion flatbread, super tasty! The cocktails were on point which I always appreciate. We also got the kafte meatballs with the tatzike and hummus, another great dish. The atmosphere was quiet yet fun, we had the window table and it was great people watching on the Seattle streets. Enjoy !
Super delicious food and drink in a very cute and comfortable environment last night. We had loads of items and drinks from their many accommodating menus (we have a dairy free friend and two celiacs and we all had what we needed). No complaints. So so good and great service.
Ravioli is to die for, cocktails and desserts are great. The menu is pretty diverse so something for everyone with Vegan options as well. Service took a longer than usual, also the host was a little bit confused about where to seat us. The not so great- chole bhature- watery, bland, flavourless, sweet (by no stretch of fusion imagination should this ever be sweet) Scallops- overcooked and way way too salty. Verdict It’s got a great ambience for a romantic date night, There are obvious gems in the menu, just need to know what to order.
I've been wanting to go to this restaurant for the past 5 years, I finally got the opportunity to go since I turned 21 earlier this year. I celebrated my friend's birthday, and it was a phenomenal experience. The server was very attentive and friendly, the drinks were awesome and had nice presentations, the food came out quickly and was unbelievably delicious.
We had a fabulous experience at Black Bottle! Alex was an exceptional server and really made the experience top notch! It was the first night out for us in quite a while (we have two toddlers at home), and I’m so glad we chose the Black Bottle for dinner! The drinks had the perfect flair, the food was creative and delicious, and the atmosphere was active but not chaotic. It was just what we needed when treating ourselves:) we will definitely be coming back. We loved the location and proximity to local venues as well-easy access to parking was an added plus too. Thanks BB!
Update: Great ambience (lots of natural light) and great staff. Shishito peppers with lemon was a tasty combination and nice starter. The scallops with bacon were so perfect, and the kale is now char-grilled for a really nice flavor and balance (see below.) The smoked-chicken flatbread with sun-dried cherries was unfortunately very heavy tasting, with delicious tender chicken slices, but way too many carmelized onions, and surprisingly little flavor from the cherries. It was nice to have a flatbread without tomato sauce, but the proportions and flavor just weren't happening. The chocolate vanilla cake was more like crême caramel on a chocolate cookie crust than a cake, so not what we were expecting, and not much chocolate flavor. However, this was a really nice meal in a pleasant space and it was under $90 for two. Cozy ambience, great staff (Alex, you will go far with that personality!), deliciously complex food. The shishito peppers with ladolemono was an enticing start and a winning combination. The bacon-wrapped scallops were a little small and hard and didn't have that quintessential flavor, and a bed of kale was not a good match for their soft, subtle flavor, nor was the kale a pleasant texture to eat. However, the dessert knocked it out of the park: lemon ricotta cake with lavender. This was the first time I actually tasted the lavender, sprinkled generously on top rather than incorporated as an essence, and it was delightful paired with the lemon - and the ricotta was a lighter, more textured cheese (than cream cheese) making for a delicious cake altogether.
