Great finds, rude staff! I had a great time searching for cute little figures and found great things unfortunately I am going through my items now and looked at the receipt and saw the cashier overcharged me for an item. It was also my first time in the store and I didn’t know there was only one line…the other cashier made a snarky comment about how “it’s just one line and people do their own thing (let’s note that I didn’t skip anyone so this comment was unnecessary). Might return, might not!

This is our favorite thrift store! There is always an excellent variety of items that changes frequently, and the prices aren't outrageous. The atmosphere is pleasant (LOVE the fun playlist they have in the background), and the employees are always cheerful and kind, even with difficult customers. It's my first go-to for children's clothing (most regular pieces are $1), house and office wares, books, and craft supplies. I can often find vintage, sturdy versions of tools for sewing and baking for pennies on the dollar. As an teacher, I receive a discount when I show my ID, as do several other groups, like military, first responders and students. I love the causes they support, and funnel my donations there as well. Hands down, our favorite thrift store in the Memphis area.

I love this store! When I moved to Memphis I needed a few furniture pieces. Checking in frequently I was able to get everything I needed. Moved to another state and when I come back, 4-5 times a year I always look forward to my shopping at your store. Was just there last week and will try to get another visit in before Christmas!

Today I supported an establishment that didn’t even recognize my existence. Upon walking in, I spoke first and I wasn’t spoken back to. I watched the man speak and socialize with everyone my children and myself. I’m not calling anyone racist but we were the only colored people in there at this time. It’s a thrift store. I just wanted to check it out and see what they had while waiting on my children to get off the bus from school. That wasn’t a so pleasant first time visit. I will add that the establishment is clean and neat. Everything is organized and easy to find. I just wish I was treated like a customer today. That’s all

I’ve always donated to Blues City because the profits go to Church Health and other non profits. They are always accommodating when taking things out of car. I usually go in and browse a bit and usually find something to purchase! I know most of what I bring is clean, in good condition and still in style. Shoes are good too.
