I really love this store. It's is a must go if you are in the area. They have lot's of great merchandise and if you follow them on facebook, you can take advantage of the sales.
Having been driving from Fayette county for years to shop at this store prior to new store manager Harlan he as always treated me fairly on 6/5/2021 went to store with wife who purchased 4items (2)which were damaged and I told her she should have checked.I found a $8 tshirt and asked for my veteran discount and was told the sale was 50% off on particular items and sign said tshirts the young ladies (3) said tshirt I had was not .Yet sign at check out said all tshirt ,mgr.said tshirt outside store was the ones along with the $1 tshirt in side .But sign said all tshirt .She proceeds to call Harlan and we exchanged words after he told her to sell the tshirt I presented for the price then she makes statement about people like me and I said you mean black people ,ironically people like me who volunteered to serve 3yrs. In the military and give her the right to freedom which there is a cost 54,000 lives lost in Vietnam then some lady in store said I wouldn’t let him back in store different ethnicity and probably Stereotype me .Then I drive home and Harlan calls and said no longer can I come back in store .I call him back and leave message that he did not want to hear my side of story .Need to train these young people that want to be in retail and have no skills other than when they mess up they want to blame the customer.Willie
These are some fantastic people! They get some pretty good stuff in, most is marked pretty cheap, except the stuff in the glass case, as expected. A recommended stop for sure!!
Women who works here is unpleasant. We have been twice both trips did not purchase anything. Google does not allow negative star ratings.
Great local thrift store. The store is very clean and although it isn't huge, it still has a good selection. The employees here are a breath of fresh air. I highly recommended stopping by.
Blues city has great products. I've found that on many higher $'d items they are willing to work with $'s. Hours can be a funky but they are a religious based group. I'm always referring FB'ers here.

Love this small thrift store. Has a whole room for furniture, and is fair priced unlike the chain thrifts. 100/10 will go again, and may be my new favorite thrift store.
I like Blues City because it’s so clean and does not stink like some of the other ones I’ve been in. I love their glassware also. The furniture dept is quite large. My husband and I enjoy going.
It's a fabulous place to shop - we never know what we're going to find. Last December my friend found an Irish Belleek porcelain ornament and I found 2 Italian Fontanini angels. What treasures! Great prices and great finds for any one's taste!
