I had an extremely satisfying experience of selling my car to Boston Car Buyers. The whole process was very smooth, with no gimmicks and everyone was honest and professional. Would recommend to all my friends and relatives.
I showed up without an appointment, I showed them the printed out appraisal I had just received from carmax up in Danvers that morning and how I was unhappy with it. Carmax swore they had the best price and no one could top their appraisal. Charlie spent 5 minutes looking at my car while it was raining and after plugging in a view items into his computer he eventually offered me 1,000 more than carmax offered. They were honest and answered all my questions, I never felt pressured. I almost didn't even go, glad I did, saved myself an extra thousand.
I highly recommend going to city motor group. I got KBB for my car and the entire transaction took about 30 minutes. Charlie is great to work with - he's fair and very upfront. 10/10 for city motor group!
Let me start by saying that some of these "great reviews" are fake. Click on their profiles and you'll see a bunch of them reviewing multiple dealerships. I don't know about you, but I cannot afford to buy multiple cars each month. They employ the usual dealer tactics, which was kind of annoying, but not unexpected. I didn't end up selling my car to them because they didn't give me a good price. The whole process took less than half an hour. They were fast and upfront about the fact they they are businessmen and are looking to make a profit.
It was a pleasure working with these guys to sell our car. Process was super quick and easy - couple of emails and phone calls followed by a 10 mins meet and we walked away with the bill of sale. No sales antics etc. Patrick was very professional and straightforward. Highly recommend for selling.
I gotta say, I was a bit skeptical with all the raving Google and Yelp reviews. Then I brought in my car and, after just a few minutes and a few questions Charles made me a very fair offer. Easily the simplest, most pleasant experience I've ever had selling a car. Highly recommended.
