Rad place with nice staff quality beverages and a nongendered restroom. I really love to come here to play chess with my buddy and there are often others playing chess too. Absolutely my favorite coffee shop on the west side!
Nice quiet spot. I love the artwork inside. Coffee is amazing. I had an iced lavender latte and it was great. My sister had a breve latte and enjoyed it. My panini tasted a lil burnt, so I wouldn’t recommend that. And after a bite, my sister found a long blonde hair in her burrito. Kind of lost appetite after that lol. But the coffee was delicious enough that we would come back for more.
Great coffee (Water Avenue!), great pastries. Staff is super friendly, atmosphere is very laid back -- perfect for a rainy day -- and the seating is abundant. Prices are reasonable for what you get, too! Definitely a gem of NW Portland; I'm more than happy to make the trip out here, and I bet you'll be, too!
I have been coming to Coffee Time on and off for the last year. The service here has always been good, the coffee is superb, and I really enjoyed the turkey croissant sandwich I had one afternoon. One of my favorite places to take a book and relax for a few hours. Also, don't let the smaller front fool you, there is more than enough seating stretching to the back of the shop.
My longtime GO-TO location. RIP Vivace. It is my earthy favorite. Like a well worn chair in a study. An irregular location, not a glass box of squareness. Permi Tables, Chairs outside. Met the owners, know almost all the Baristas Past- Present on a first name basis. Everyone is great 👍 like them all. They make the place. Good hiring of great people. My only neg is street Parking suks badly. Bring a bike. Food is simple but good, drink selection to include cold items n' CBD ( first ones i ever tried ). This place needs to go back to 11PM and beyond. They open early. The remod is nice. Chairs, Tables, back room area. Kudos!
Nice staff, quality coffee and nibbles. Outdoor seating in small two-somes or several park benches under canopies. Knocked one star because there were two people working behind the counter but one was at the far end talking to a regular and ignoring the line of customers.
came in when my power was out because of the snow storm and i needed to do work for school and charge my phone. this place was insanely busy with other people also seeking warmth and electricity, but the two baristas were so nice and handled it like it was nothing. they were taking orders and making food and drinks for the entirety of the several hours i was there. they were so great!!
This is my favorite coffee shop that I've ever been in, and I've got to have been to over 100 by now. The interior is THE COOLEST for a coffee shop of it's size. It reminds me of a Hobbit Hole from Tolkien's books: it goes back and back with low ceilings, warm lighting, and small tables scattered throughout. There are usually people playing chess outside, sometimes people playing tabletop games inside, and all enjoying great beverages. To top it all off, it's open until midnight!!
A great place to study or WFH outside. However, 100% of the time they're out of the huckleberry lemonade when it's supposed to be a seasonal special. The employees are wonderful.
Great place to remote work. Lovely staff who are very pleasant and there are plenty of power ports/ usb outlets and plugs available at the cafe to sit and work. No homeless coming in, safe and secure!
