There's usually a long line, but you get through it pretty quick. I love that even though it's already a cheap spot to shop for clothes and such, there are still clearance options too. The changing rooms have been closed for a while because of COVID, but you can return or exchange items that don't fit.
I have had the pleasure of both, working for this establishment and patronizing it before hand and I have to say that both experiences were, to say the least, horrible. Working there came with many stressors, including poor management as well as poor customer service practices, stemming from a high turnover rate and under trained associates. You are overworked and under-appreciated and when you are drained from the constant slack management they seem to be angry with you. Why is this, you ask? Because they are totally dependent on the staff even when there is a shortage of help on hand and no matter how much they ask you to fill in you are expected to conform and then execute the plans with absolutely no leniency. As far as my shopping experiences, the lines are always long, the wait time is atrocious and the new addition to the security team, Chris, seems to be less than knowledgeable about what his position entails. He is rude and condescending and has no respect for those that shop there- very different from other guards I have encountered in this establishment. He is not a people person, thus he shouldn’t have face to face contact with customers unless they are looking for a way to decrease revenue. Although DD’s Discounts has great deals, awesome customers and new inventory on a daily basis it is not worth the experience to step foot into the door. I would rather visit the sister store, Ross.
My friend have been telling me about this store and I never went. I was trying to kill time one day and stopped.. The store had some nice item's and at very reasonable prices. The employees also had good attitudes.. They even had household goods , curlers, shoes, & clothes (men & woman). Nice Store but they need more cashiers.
Nice place to go shop on weekdays
Dd's will have you in a choke hold 😁. If you see it, get it. It will not be there the next time. It's cheap, but quality items come from everywhere. You never know what you will get.
This place is the word ghetto. From management, cashier to security guard. They have zero education but being ghetto. The hours are from 11am to 9pm they have not updated that. The store is dirty, smelly, parking lot has trash all over it. The two mr clean bald headed security guys are rude. The people who agree with me know that dds was not like this but for a while now they are ghetto. Don’t spend your money there they will disrespect you while paying. Quality is so cheap nothing last. They are trash hope they close soon.
I went inside and the store was a mess. Items everywhere looking like a tornado had rip through the place. I walked in and walked right out.
