I don't know how it took me so long to find this place. Finally, a decent store for big and tall guys. The clothes here are all cut with big and tall frames in mind- little extra lengths of fabric here and there make all the difference in the world. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly folks that are very willing to help you, and if a sale or promo code exists, they'll do their best to make sure you know about it and can take advantage of it. I'll be back.
In store was fine. Second straight time ordering online, then hours later being told product wasn’t in stock. But calling store had it waiting on me after talking to associate. If you’re going to continue that practice, I WILL go elsewhere!
Store almost always has what I want in my size at a reasonable (not cheap) price. Quality sales people are there occasionally, but most are only fair. Clothes are good quality. I will continue to shop there.
Clothes that fit my fat ass, the prices reflect the quality, which means it won't wear out in a few months like most other clothes.
I always receive the best customer service here. Now I will say they are overcharging. In my opinion they slick take advantage that people of a larger size find it hard to find nice clothes, but that has nothing to do with the representative. They try their best to find coupons to help lower the cost and I appreciate that.
Bad service from Sales Associate at White Station store. Store is never well stocked. He always the same excuse, when out of stock. Item being discontinued. If Katrina was there she would help find what you need.
Upon entering, the store smelled so good. The staff was friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable.
Have been there several times (East Memphis location) and the staff is always courteous and helpful. Good selection of nice-looking clothing. Oversized customers like me have very few options when clothes shopping. And the stuff can get much pricier per item than clothing for regular sized adults. But that just comes with the territory. Join their mailing list and you’ll receive frequent offers for discounts on your purchases. Store is always clean and tidy. Dressing rooms are comfortably spacious. If you have to order from them by mail the turnaround time is short and they typically get your stuff in the mail very quickly. They shipped my last order for free but I can’t remember if that was standard or due to the size of my order (which was only $80).
I really like DXL in KC and was excited to hear there was a bigger one in Memphis where I live now. I got greeted and people did check on me which was nice. My DXL experiences in KC are 5 star all day long. Things are neat and orderly. All sizes are in order from small to large and usually most sizes are available. You get actual support finding things etc. This store is a train wreck. I feel like I’m shopping a kohls clearance rack at designer prices. Not in size order. Most items not available in all sizes. Clearance section is all over the place. Underwear section boxes all over not neatly arranged. I don’t even work retail but can tell it’s poorly managed. Seriously one of my favorite stores just needs to be held to the DXL standards I’ve come to expect. Someone needs to fix this store.
The tall guy at the front who was supposed to be assisting us had the worst discriminatory attitude just because my dad has an accent. He should be ashamed of the “help” he barely gave. Just because we mixed up the size when asked doesn’t warrant this elitist attitude..over pants. I hope that man has the day and week that he deserves.
