Huge place! Came here on a first Friday. As a fellow hobbyist artist, I did not know what to expect. It was my first time here, so I was kind of aimlessly wandering around for the first 20 - 30 minutes. I was a bit early so I could get preferred parking. So, there weren't many people there when I arrived. I must admit, I was a bit confused when I entered through the doors at Gallery 9. It was a bit strange, and people were kind of getting their art galleries set up. I wondered around and looked at some of the artworks on the hallways. I finally stumbled upon Glass Art Indiana. They had a cool showing of somebody blowing glass. I was finally getting more comfortable. I built up the nerves to explore more, and to my surprise, I discovered a large gallery of many different artists. It was neat. I got to hear a school of Harpist. Got to enjoy an array of different artworks (I heard think there were 60 of them). I got to enjoy an art showing that had AI art. My favorite that I saw was Susan Semenick's water color art (her architecture pieces), Chuck Horseman's cool historical figures painted as punk rockers, Glen Fuller's lighting and furniture designs, and Roberta Avidor. They weren't there this First Friday, but I was really hoping to see Ken Avidor's sketches and Lad Art. Cool pieces I saw while walking around were Kurt Kriese's "My God, my go's, why thoust has forsaken me", Mike Altman's "You have played with someone like this", Orlando Palaez's "Pueblo de Taos", and Dee Schaad's "Claud Monet with Water Lillies". My only recommendation is to be willing to explore, be willing to be open minded, be willing to talk to strangers. Despite the rain, I had a great time, I enjoyed the people, the scene, the atmosphere, the live music, and the artist community commradarie. I will be sure to return.
If you've been to The Garage or The Living Room Theatre, but haven't been here, you're in for a treat. This place is easy walking distance from the Coke Bottling Plant and it has lots to offer. Check it out.

I went to an Aimee Bruno studio Event. I stumbled into this needle felt art class not really knowing what to expect, and honestly, it ended up being such a refreshing experience. Aimee mentioned at the beginning how people describe needle felting as cathartic and relaxing because of the repetitive motion and sound of the needle through the felt, and I thought, “Okay… sure.” But once I started, I completely understood. As everyone settled into their projects, the room got so quiet in the best way. You could tell everyone was focused, creating, and just enjoying the process. Aimee created such a welcoming environment. She was chill, relatable, personable, and made the class feel comfortable whether you were experienced or trying this for the very first time like I was. That energy honestly made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, such a fun and unexpectedly relaxing class, and I’m so glad I stumbled upon it. I already want to go back and take another one — and I absolutely LOVE how my piece turned out. It’s ridiculously cute.
Great place to go, really enjoyed it. Something different
Make sure to catch the second floor main gallery and Studios on First friday, and they have like what two breweries and a honey wine place, along with a chocolatier, glassblowing, ceramics, and I believe axe throwing at the end. It's changed a lot since the beginning of the Circle City industrial complex, but it has definitely grown positive in many areas. But I do miss what Wug
CCIC is a great reflection of Indy's hardworking artists, craftsmen, and makers. It's a great place to support local business and find inspiration. Not only the home of the winter farmer's market, but also a great First Friday spot. Wear comfy shoes :) the complex spans over two city blocks.

You will find everything from a brewery to artisan shops. Most everything is affordable and made by local artists. Stop by here and when you’re done enjoy a craft beer or a pastry at Amelia’s a few blocks away.
Nice place to chill and drink a few ciders/meads. Went on a Thursday afternoon and we were the only ones in the entire place. Kicked back, drank and chatted.
