I have been calling since open this morning to find out about support groups from a real person. They don't answer their phones. I keep getting sent to a "Trinka Jones Client Relations Assistant" voicemail. I've tried different prompts and pressed 0 hoping for reception, no luck. How can you be an efficient "resource center" when phone calls aren't answered? I can't imagine how many women are in valuable need of their services and become discouraged because they can't get through, truly unacceptable.
The ladies who work here are amazing and they have been willing to help me every step of the way with resources that work when it comes to the mess I found myself in earlier this summer. Thanks to all their help, I will be free from my abuser before end of October. Also for what I have had to pay out of pocket, the amount was significantly less than hiring an attorney for the same services.
This gem of a place caters to the advancement and enrichment of women. The courses and workshops that women can participate in here is nothing short of incredible, and at such reasonable prices! Fresh Start Women's Foundation is a Godsend for women entering or reentering the workforce, I'm so glad I found this place!
Great resources for women. The Social Workers are excellent as self esteem coaches & getting your life back on track after or even during abusive situations. There are on site resources for divorce, college scholarships & so much more. Child care & a quarterly catalog of workshops that vary from self growth to drumming, tai chi & so many varied things to choose from to enhance your life.
This is the greatest place to learn new things and its for women only. They empower women and give them the tools they need to succeed in life or simply start over. I love coming there, the ladies there always make me feel welcome.🤗
This place is a scam, there are no lawyers and there is no legal service. They charged me for every appointment and every paper they printed and in court it was of no use to me because they had done nothing right. I am a victim of domestic violence and they do not take me into account, they may seem very kind but it is money wasted. Function fraud
Amazing women's resources. I loved it I got a little free gifts all day long got to go to a meditation workshop a mental health workshop and a lady did my chakra. One of the best days I've had for a while
An outstanding resource for women in abusive relationships. A lot of support, caring volunteers, and groups to help navigate you in the right direction. Very thoghtful people are in this safe space for women to access computers, therapy, job assistance, and a host of other opportunities. Women that participate in the programs will have the opportunity to no longer be a victim, and thrive as independent and productive people. GO GO GO
Fabulous place! Workshops, 2nd hand store,a branch of the Goodwill Jobs Center, legal consulting AND a Safe Haven. All for women only! Everyone should check them out. I can not recommend them enough!
