We had a great experience meeting with the Fulton County Public Health team. Their leadership and coordination across departments is very impressive, and they are very dedicated to serving the community. Thank you so much!
I’ve been coming here for years. They don’t help me with anything. Everything is a disappointment. They won’t even try to squeeze you in. Take care of nothing about anything your you going through your financial situation if you’re homeless if you’re hungry , they just don’t care about the clients at all at least that’s the impression that I’ve been getting
I had a great experience here. The entire staff were friendly. It is normal to expect to wait a few minutes. It wasn't bad. I felt like I got in and out of there in an hour for an immunization, and that is pretty good, considering I didn't have an appointment. I had called ahead, and was told to just make sure I showed up before 3 p.m. I highly recommend this center!
Their website and Google profile states they close at 5 pm. They REFUSE to pick up the phone, so you can't call to confirm anything either. I was stuck in 1½ hours of traffic, only to arrive to a closed office. Their actual close time is 3:30 pm. As a Fulton County taxpayer, I am infuriated!
EDIT: just put my dog into care for the morning and spent 2 hours on parking to walk in and be told that they've closed early in preparation for the public holiday on the 3rd that is the actual public holiday before the 4th of July. I mean, you *could* have put this on the website! You can never get them on the phone when you need information. The push button directory to the main line seems decent but pushing the button you think (or many others) would lead you where you need always takes you to a variety of voicemail boxes that don't get returned, people who can't help you or indefinite hold times. I need to be able to call back to get my results and I can't!
Never have I ever had to wait an hour to be seen in a unprofessional work environment to many contracted FCPD and medical providers to be just sitting when lives can saved on both sides I feel sadden why this county is high in Std and Sti cases because they are not screening or helping because of work gossip conversations a library is quiet I think all gossip should be in work meetings and email forums it's sad but why not love being a person to critique unprofessional conduct and stating what will happen to the next person that walks in this unprofessional work environment
My child has quarantined twice now. The first time out of precaution, the second time because he had symptoms. The first time we waited for the board of health to call us "shortly" for several days after I reported his negative test. This time, we received his negative result on 9/30 and we are still waiting for a call "shortly" as stated when the report is finished. The instructions for whether I can send my child back to school are not clear. Working single parents cannot wait a week or more for this institution to figure out what it's doing. I will be sending my son back to school today and hopefully he's not required to come immediately home. Please be more clear to parents about how they should proceed and change the wording on the final page. Making someone wait a few days or more for a phone call does not mean "shortly" in my mind.
I've come here in the past but this particular visit was really frustrating. I didn't have an appointment so I knew waiting would be neccessary but 3 hours is excessive. Apparently my number was called when I had to get a bite to eat and I tell the young lady I hadn't eaten. I return after 10 min and of course the number after mine is being called. I didn't trip surely I'd be next. Nope I waited another hour and a half. I was in pain the entire time nobody seemed to care
If you’re needing your birth certificate, even though your google search brought you here you’ll actually need to go to the government building (141 Pryor) its only three blocks away-simple enough after asking the people in the lobby of this building-they’ll tell you exactly where you actually need to go. Plan with more than enough time and you won’t be stressed. The government building is very organized and security tells you exactly where to go. Going on a Monday late morning it took me longer to walk there than I was actually in the building. So yeah I had a really good experience and wouldn’t have wasted my time doing an online application and losing a month of time waiting. Like I said just plan with more than enough time to make a few laps to find the best parking garage lol go early in the week early in the day and it’s a much better experience.
I would like extend my gratitude to a few great people who brought kindness and light into my day. Ms. Sadie.S who was just so compassionate and sensitive to my every need during my visit to the T.B clinic and was very resourceful regarding my financial position. Also Ms. Mary in the x-ray department who was very helpful in explaining the procedure, she was comforting and left a smile on my face she also answered many of my concerns! I can't for get Dr. Swan and all the other staff and faculty who contributed such professional etiquette to the success of my visit ..Five stars for Fulton County Board of health!! Thank you so much.
